Bang bang bang!
Inside a secret training room at the base.
His upper body bare, his muscles were sculpted like forged steel, defined and radiating power. Any young woman would be unable to resist taking a second glance.
Rorschach was punching a metal sandbag hanging in front of him, one punch after another.
That's right, a sandbag made of metal.
There was no other way; Rorschach's strength was simply too great now, and ordinary training methods were no longer suitable.
So Charles had specially designed this metal sandbag for Rorschach.
Rorschach's current physique was equivalent to that of an ordinary person's fourteen times over. Although he couldn't be completely bulletproof, bullets could only pierce Rorschach's skin and would get stuck in the flesh.
With this kind of toughness, combined with some boxing wraps, punching a metal sandbag was absolutely no problem.
More than a week had passed since the incident at the Springfield amusement park. Everything had been calm and quiet during this time, with no trouble finding them.
Rorschach didn't know if Stryker hadn't found anything, was plotting something big, or was too busy with other matters to pay attention.
Rorschach didn't care about that.
With his current strength, unless Stryker brought an army, it wouldn't be enough for Rorschach to worry about.
Compared to Stryker, Rorschach was more concerned about his own strength.
"Not bad. After these few days of training, I've completely adapted to my current strength and speed!" Rorschach thought to himself with great satisfaction as he threw punches.
Just then.
Rorschach suddenly stopped his movements, slowly wiping away his sweat, and went to the clothes rack to pick up his shirt.
Because Rorschach heard footsteps.
And from the strength and frequency of the steps, he could immediately distinguish that the person approaching was Raven.
Everyone's footsteps were unique and highly recognizable, something Rorschach had never paid attention to before he gained super hearing.
Creak!
As expected, the door was opened not long after, and Raven appeared before Rorschach.
"Oh my god!"
Rorschach had just picked up his vest and hadn't had time to put it on when Raven saw him. Raven let out an exaggerated cry.
"Rorschach, your physique is too good! No young girl could resist such temptation!" Raven's eyes were practically glued to him.
"Enough, your eyeballs are about to fall out." Rorschach put on his vest unceremoniously, giving Raven no further opportunity.
"Is this your secret to fitness, punching a metal sandbag?" Raven glanced at the pitted metal sandbag nearby.
She couldn't help but grimace.
What a monster.
Even among mutants, he was a monster.
"No, my secret is actually drinking plenty of boiled water." Rorschach said with a serious expression.
Raven: "..."
What the heck?
Who boils water before drinking it?
"Forget it, Rorschach, do you know the party has already started? Everyone is waiting for you," Raven said, remembering she had something to do.
"Sorry, I forgot." Rorschach told the truth.
He had been so immersed in training that he had lost track of time.
"I knew it. Go take a shower quickly and come down. Don't keep us waiting too long!"
"Okay, I'll be right there."
Returning to his dorm, Rorschach took a quick shower, changed into clean clothes, and then went to a lounge bar on the first floor.
He saw Raven, Hank, Alex, Sean, Aman, and some other mutants there, chatting and laughing from time to time.
It was quite lively.
Rorschach pushed the door open and walked in, apologizing to everyone: "Sorry, everyone, I'm late."
"Rorschach, you're here just in time. We were just talking about how we should have cool nicknames. I'm Mystique, and Aman is Darwin!"
Mystique officially debuts!
Raven said excitedly to Rorschach.
"Mystique? That's a great nickname! Aman, is your Darwin the Darwin from the theory of evolution?" Rorschach naturally found a seat and joined the discussion.
"That's right, because my ability is adaptation," Darwin briefly explained to Rorschach.
"Rorschach, Darwin just stuck his head into the fish tank and grew gills! It's insane!" Alex gestured wildly as he explained to Rorschach.
"What do you think of me being called Siren?"
"If it were me, I'd call myself Angel. That was my stage name anyway."
"Wrecker! That nickname suits my vibe much better!"
The future Siren, Wrecker, and Angel all went live.
"So, what about you, Rorschach?"
Angel flapped the wings on its back, hovering in the air as it looked at Rorschach and asked.
"Me..."
Rorschach thought for a moment, then uttered three words, "Homelander."
Homelander?
Everyone was a bit confused. What the heck was Homelander?
They had no idea what he was talking about.
"Rorschach, what's the deal with Homelander? Why that name?" Mystique Raven asked out of curiosity.
"Don't you get it? That's the point. Nicknames that others don't understand are way cooler," Rorschach chuckled.
They didn't dwell on the name Homelander for long. The group started to have a blast, unleashing their powers to their hearts' content.
Enjoying this mutant party.
"Bzzzt!"
Siren opened its mouth, and a sonic wave shattered the glass.
Screeeech!
Wrecker Alex fired several energy rings, slicing through the statues outside.
Rorschach, however, didn't join in. He just sat alone on the sofa. According to the plot, Black King Shaw and his crew would probably be here soon.
"What in the world are you all doing!"
Just as everyone was having a great time, an angry roar suddenly exploded.
It was Agent Moira and Charles Erik, who had appeared out of nowhere.
Moira saw the mess and the immature behavior of the mutants and was utterly furious.
Not just her, but Charles and Erik looked equally disappointed.
Just moments ago, they had finished a meeting. The CIA had finally found a lead on Black King Shaw, and they had decided to officially involve those mutants.
Unsurprisingly, Moira's proposal was met with skepticism from their superiors.
But Moira and the others had assured their superiors that they weren't just recruiting ordinary young people, but outstanding talents.
And this was the result?
They had been slapped in the face, hard.
Everyone except Rorschach was deeply disappointing.
"Who broke the statue?" Agent Moira demanded, glaring at the mutants.
"Alex."
"No, it's Wrecker. That's his new name."
Mystique Raven was still hyped up. Pointing at Charles and Erik, she continued, "We were thinking, you should be called Professor X, and you, you should be called Magneto!"
Professor X and Magneto were online.
