After Mu Yue defeated Satori and brought Uzumaki Hualing to Konoha, he built Ninshu’s influence through lectures and announced a tournament that drew young ninja from across the villages. The tournament’s elimination rounds exposed powerful contenders and a threat to Kakashi, while Feebas evolved into Milotic to protect Nohara Rin.

• Mu Yue defeated Satori, contained it in the Box of Ultimate Bliss, and helped Longfei take control of Kusagakure and ally with Konoha.
• Mu Yue brought Uzumaki Hualing to Konoha, where she reunited with Uzumaki Kushina, then began teaching ninja from across the villages in the Land of Rain.
• Mu Yue announced the Youth Ninja Martial Arts Tournament, established Six Paths City as Ninshu’s settlement, and drew interest from the great villages.
• Obito’s Charmander evolved into Charmeleon, and Mu Yue’s students tested their Ninja Beasts in matches that ended with Rockruff defeating Charmeleon.
• More than two hundred contestants gathered for the tournament, where Kakashi, Obito, Shisui, Nohara Rin, and Nagato advanced through the preliminaries.
• Nagato defeated Baki and Aburame Shibi, while Sand Crab beat Yahiko, and Might Guy defeated Choseki and Kisame Hoshigaki with overwhelming force.

After Naruto stopped Pain’s attack and Konoha began rebuilding under Danzō, Jiraiya reunited with Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato in Six Paths City.

• Nohara Rin’s Milotic defeated Kakashi, and the remaining second-round matches set the quarterfinal lineup as Sasori began investigating Mu Yue.
• Kakashi defeated Might Guy in a hard-fought quarterfinal, while Shisui beat Asuma and Obito defeated Mei Terumi.
• Nagato overcame Might Guy and then Obito to win the tournament, while Sasori ambushed Kakashi, Nohara Rin, and Obito, prompting Rockruff to evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc and Charmeleon into Charizard.
• Mu Yue exposed Sasori and assigned him ten years of labor reform, then trained Obito and Shisui in powerful Fire Release as Shisui sought Uchiha Fugaku’s support for Police Force reform.
• Nagato’s egg hatched into Gastly, and Mu Yue’s work with Ninshu strengthened Nagato’s trust as Kakashi grew suspicious of the organization’s connection to Akatsuki.
• Naruto mastered perfect Sage Mode and a throwable Rasenshuriken, then arrived after Pain destroyed Konoha and defeated the Six Paths with help from Hinata, Mu Yue, and Minato Namikaze.
• Nagato revived Konoha’s fallen ninja, but Naruto learned that Shimura Danzō had become Sixth Hokage and ordered Sasuke’s execution.

Shisui won clan and Hokage approval for reforming the Police Force as Mu Yue’s forces prepared to stop Iwagakure’s advance. Mu Yue exposed White Zetsu spies and led Konoha into a surprise counterattack that left Iwagakure’s army suppressed, with Jiraiya still fighting Han.

• Jiraiya trained Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato, then met Mu Yue and discussed whether lasting peace was possible.
• Mu Yue taught Obito and Shisui Azure Flame, while Riolu evolved into Lucario and Lucario defeated Lycanroc and Charizard.
• Shisui proposed opening the Police Force to non-Uchiha, defeated Uchiha Seisei’s side with Obito, and secured approval from the clan and Hiruzen Sarutobi.
• Mu Yue refined and tested the Yang Seal, learned Observation Haki, and began teaching it to his disciples as Iwagakure prepared a major offensive.

After Iwaku’s sacrifice, Rōshi accepted the Four-Tails’ Chakra and later fled Iwagakure, eventually reaching the Land of Rain and seeking a meeting with Sōsuke. Mu Yue expanded Ninshu through an unrestricted lecture in Six Paths City, where Rōshi heard his teachings and began learning about Ninshu’s history.

• Iwaku sacrificed himself to disrupt Rōshi’s Tailed Beast Bomb, and Rōshi asked the Four-Tails for its Chakra after witnessing Iwaku’s actions.
• Rōshi’s attacks devastated the battlefield, while Mu Yue, Minato Namikaze, and Jiraiya discovered that the captured White Zetsu had vanished.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi praised Mu Yue’s victory and gave him Wood Release research materials, while Ōnoki placed Mu Yue at the top of Iwagakure’s must-kill list.
• Rōshi escaped Iwagakure after Ōnoki intensified surveillance, then traveled through the Land of Rain and helped villagers by defeating rogue ninja.
• Nagato discovered Rōshi’s presence and told Mu Yue that Rōshi wanted to meet Sōsuke, while Mu Yue agreed to meet him after an unrestricted lecture.
• Mu Yue organized the lecture in Six Paths City, where Root agents infiltrated the gathering and Rōshi raised the earth beneath himself to see Sōsuke.

• Rōshi visited Ninshu’s information event and read Sōsuke’s booklet, which criticized the shortcomings of ancient Ninshu.
