"Night, you completed your mission very well. Lord Danzo asked me to give these to you." Hirasaka Iro handed two scrolls to Mu Yue.

Mu Yue accepted the scrolls and nodded calmly without speaking. Root ninjas did not need much conversation between themselves.

Hirasaka Iro said nothing more. After handing over the scrolls, he quickly vanished to prevent Mu Yue's identity from being exposed.

After sensing Hirasaka Iro's presence gradually fade into the distance, Mu Yue returned to his room and opened the two scrolls.

The other contained Danzo's acknowledgment of Mu Yue's work, along with his latest instructions.

Danzo first praised Mu Yue's performance, saying that he had done well by taking the initiative and swiftly integrating himself into the Ninja Academy's decision-making. As a special reward, he was granted a powerful Fire Release Ninjutsu.

Then Danzo told Mu Yue not to grow complacent, but to continue developing at the Ninja Academy with this momentum. He was to keep a close watch on Shisui Uchiha in his class while also paying attention to the other Uchiha students whenever possible.

Finally, Danzo painted Mu Yue a rosy picture. If Mu Yue could maintain such performance going forward, Danzo would help arrange for his promotion to Special Jonin and secure him an important position at the Ninja Academy.

After reading it, flames rose from Mu Yue's hand and reduced both scrolls to ash.

"Special Jonin, an important position... Heh." Mu Yue chuckled.

If it had been the original owner of this body, Danzo's combination of rewards and promises might have filled him with motivation. But Mu Yue...

The rewarded Fire Release technique was the Great Dragon Fire, which he already knew, and he had no desire whatsoever to become a Special Jonin.

Although they spent most of their time training Ninjutsu and only occasionally studied theory and completed test papers, they had just done previous years' exams, and Obito had scored thirty points.

Based on his past experience, that score was already several points above passing.

The Ninja Academy's passing line was half the average score, and the average was generally only a little over fifty. He was completely safe.
