Once his right hand was fully spread open, there was only a little black ash on it—the green leaf from before was nowhere to be seen. After the wind blew the ash away, nothing remained.

Obito smiled smugly. "Kakashi, looks like you guessed wrong."

Kakashi narrowed his eyes, grabbed Obito's left hand, and opened it. As he had expected, it was empty. After a brief thought, he figured out what had happened.

"Fire Release Chakra Nature Transformation." Kakashi looked at Obito in surprise. He had not expected Obito to have not only initially grasped nature transformation, but also possessed the brains to set a trap for him.

The former was somewhat unbelievable, but not impossible. The latter was what truly surprised Kakashi.

"Hahaha, Kakashi, you never saw that coming, did you?" Obito's grin gradually became more arrogant.

"It was indeed a little unexpected. Looks like I've been slacking off lately." Kakashi's expression returned to calm.

Although he felt that Obito had grown tremendously, Kakashi had no desire whatsoever to praise him while looking at that smug face.

"Damn it, Kakashi, what do you mean by that?" Obito was a little displeased.

If losing to him meant Kakashi had been slacking off, didn't that mean Obito was weak?

Kakashi said flatly, "Exactly what it sounds like."

"You..." Obito had originally wanted to argue with Kakashi some more, but then remembered that he had already achieved his goal. It was more important to hurry back and train.

He had beaten Kakashi this time, but there would be no such tricks during the competition. What mattered there was true strength.

With their goal achieved, Nohara Rin and Obito quickly said goodbye to Kakashi and left.

As they walked away, Nohara Rin brought up their wager from earlier.

Receiving Nohara Rin's praise, Obito immediately swelled with pride and laughed. "Hahaha, it was just chakra nature transformation. It wasn't that impressive..."

Being too carried away, Obito failed to watch where he was going and slammed headfirst into the utility pole beside Kakashi's house.

"Damn Kakashi!" Obito decided it was the fault of the utility pole being positioned badly next to Kakashi's house.

He took back that tiny bit of expectation. Hadn't Obito remained completely unchanged? He was still as foolish as ever.

During Ninjutsu class, after Mu Yue finished his lesson and demonstration, he let the students practice on their own. If they encountered anything they did not understand, they could come directly to him with questions.

Mu Yue understood the gap between theory and practice very well.

Most of the time, the mind said it had seen and understood it, only for the body to tell it that it understood absolutely nothing.

"I'm used to making clones that look like myself. Making other forms feels so unfamiliar." Izumo Kamizuki scratched his head.

"Why don't we ask Teacher Hanyu if he has any special tricks?" Kotetsu Hagane suggested.

Anko nodded as well. "If you have a problem, just ask Teacher Hanyu."

The three of them were jointly developing a new Ninjutsu, combining the Clone Technique with the Transformation Technique. They wanted to shock the entire school during the next Final Exam and achieve better results.

After reaching an agreement, the three walked over to Mu Yue and explained their problem.

Mu Yue thought for a moment before saying, "You can try starting with simple objects. Get used to that feeling first, then gradually move on to more complicated ones."

"Simple objects..." Izumo Kamizuki fell into thought.

Then Anko spotted the chair beside the podium and pointed at it. "Let's start with chairs, then. That's simple enough, right?"

Izumo Kamizuki looked over and nodded. The structure and shape of a chair were indeed simple enough—it was just a few pieces of wood and a wooden board put together.

Thus, the three began training according to Mu Yue's suggestion, and the atmosphere in the classroom gradually became strange.

Several chairs appeared in the classroom with three legs, two legs, or even just one leg.

"Looks like chairs aren't as easy as I imagined." Kotetsu Hagane scratched his head awkwardly. The one-legged chair was his.

"Are you trying to make me laugh to death, Kotetsu?" Izumo Kamizuki immediately pointed at Kotetsu Hagane's one-legged chair and burst into loud laughter.

Izumo Kamizuki's commotion drew the attention of the entire classroom, and the students were soon all amused by the bizarre chair.

"And your two-legged chair isn't strange?" Kotetsu Hagane shot back, blushing.

Everyone looked toward the chair beside Izumo Kamizuki. It had one leg in front and one in back, both on the same side, and they could not help bursting into laughter again.

"You two are hopeless. You still have to look at me, the second-best in the grade." Anko crossed her arms. Her chair not only had three legs—it was also walking around her.

Seeing this bizarre scene, the students in the classroom could no longer hold it in. With school nearly over, their laughter even attracted students from other classes to come watch.

Amid the laughter and cheerful voices, the dismissal bell rang, and Mu Yue announced the end of class.

The Mystical Palm Technique was no ordinary Medical Ninjutsu. It was an extremely advanced Medical Ninjutsu, and not many Medical Ninja in all of Konoha had mastered it.

The Mystical Palm Technique could not only treat external injuries, but even cure internal illnesses. It was exceptionally powerful when it came to healing.

With the Mystical Palm Technique, Obito's Nature Transformation training would be safer as well. If he got injured, he could be treated immediately.

That makes all seven attributes.

Regarding the Asuma mission, Mu Yue reported that Asuma had successfully acknowledged him as his teacher, and asked whether he should try to recruit Asuma into the Root organization.

As long as Danzo was not suffering from senility, Mu Yue believed he would not give him an affirmative answer.

The reason he reported it this way was simply to let Danzo know that he had completed the mission well and had already gained Asuma's approval, while also expressing his loyalty to Root.
