Konoha's High Command Takes the Field

Led by Karatachi Yagura, over a thousand Hidden Mist Village ninja rapidly came ashore and launched an assault on Konoha's border forces in the northeastern Land of Fire.

Because of Kumogakure's large-scale offensive, Konoha had been paying close attention to the situation in the northeastern Land of Fire.

So, they quickly noticed Hidden Mist Village's attack.
