One fiery portal after another appeared. Asgardian knights, clad in armor and armed to the teeth, leaped from the portals atop pegasi. The pegasi trod through the air, circling overhead as they began forming ranks.
Loki and Frigga led the Asgardian army out of the portals with overwhelming momentum.
Kamar-Taj's Sorcerer Supreme, Wong, led the sorcerers swiftly through the portals. Golden spell arrays burst from his hands as he watched the Black Order and their army with vigilant eyes.
Stephen Strange emerged with the others, the Cloak of Levitation billowing behind him. He flew into the sky, intending to leave this place and stop the Star Annihilator Cannon aboard Thanos's mothership.
Ebony Maw's gaze flickered slightly. Using telekinesis, he levitated himself and blocked Stephen Strange's departure.
As Bruce Banner stepped through the portal, he transformed directly into the Hulk, only to see his old enemy Corvus Glaive glaring at him with hatred.
During the previous Battle of New York caused by Loki, Corvus Glaive had been defeated by the Hulk and imprisoned in the Deep-Sea Great Prison alongside Ebony Maw.
Now that he had encountered the Hulk again, old and new grudges surged together. Corvus Glaive glared furiously at him, only to be met with the Hulk's mischievous, feral grin.
"Can you still hold on?" Thor supported Steve Rogers's back with one hand as he stepped out of the portal and asked with concern.
"I'm all right." Steve Rogers straightened his shoulders and caught his breath. His gaze swept over Thor, the Asgardian warriors, and the many Kamar-Taj sorcerers before he frowned at the Black Order and Thanos's mothership in the sky. "You shouldn't have come out now."
Thanos and He-El had yet to appear. The Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain Marvel Carol Danvers, the Asgardian
