With Hulk joining them, the Guardians of the Galaxy completely subdued Destroyer Drax and brought him under control. In the end, Mantis used her psychic power to put Destroyer Drax into a deep sleep.
"Damn it, I won't let that bastard off!" Star-Lord of the Guardians of the Galaxy breathed a sigh of relief, then glanced at the sleeping Destroyer Drax. He turned toward He-El's demon-god-like armored figure. Seeing the light of five Infinity Stones flashing on his chest, rage filled his eyes.
"Count me in!" Rocket Raccoon tugged at the gun taller than himself and raised it, glaring resentfully in He-El's direction. "You caused us this much trouble, and you still want to collect the Infinity Stones?"
"Groot!" Groot echoed from beside him.
Mantis's face was grim as her right hand stroked the unconscious Destroyer Drax's forehead. Her black eyes stared at He-El, clearly displeased.
"Hulk!" Hulk roared, clenching both fists.
Stephen Strange, Thor, Captain Marvel Carol Danvers, and Tony Stark faced He-El head-on.
The Guardians of the Galaxy were positioned to one side.
Steve Rogers, Clint Barton, and Natasha Romanoff stood on the other side, already prepared to join the battle.
They had no way of waiting until He-El's armor was destroyed before making their move.
The severity of the situation no longer allowed them to wait.
