Arc 3The AllSpark and the Golden Barrier

He-El reached Krypton, defeated Brainiac 7, and later took control of the AllSpark, forcing Megatron and the Decepticons under his power. After the Autobots and Decepticons clashed at Hoover Dam, He-El formed a vast golden barrier that began cooling Nevada and Arizona.

  • Optimus Prime and Sentinel Prime opposed He-El as Sentinel Prime summoned Cybertron, but He-El shut down the Space Bridge and destroyed the Star Harvester’s beam before The Fallen could use it against the barrier.
  • Quintessa shattered the completed barrier and attacked He-El, but his defenses overcame her weapons, and he subdued her after she awakened Unicron and Earth retreated from waking.
  • Megatron praised He-El’s resolve, and He-El gathered Quintessa’s cells and Cybertronian technology before taking the Star Harvester and Energy Converter for his mothership.
  • He-El met Ciri, supplied her with Quintessa’s cells for research, and used the AllSpark to turn Zero into a Transformer that would become the mothership.
  • He-El’s attempts to restore Kandor City prisoners to their original size caused their genes to collapse, leading him to discover a psychic Thought Imprint in Kryptonian genes and build a database to replace their genetic information.
  • He-El tested the replacement on Chester, ordered Zero to preserve him for observation, and instructed Zero to begin transforming the completed mothership design.
