He-El defeated the gods’ resistance, founded New Krypton, and pursued a way back to his future after Batman’s attack sent him into Krypton’s past. He manipulated events leading to Krypton’s destruction and confronted his younger self as the time loop reached Earth.

• He-El defeated Steppenwolf, negotiated with Zeus for two authorities and 1,558 light-years of Divine Realm territory, and ended the war by claiming Australia for New Krypton.
• He-El transformed warships and Green Lantern Rings into mechanical beings, appointed Athena to lead New Krypton’s magic system, and founded the nation as Ciri watched him begin to fade.
• Batman, Luthor, Black Adam, and The Flash traveled to Krypton’s past, where Batman shot the young He-El and triggered He-El’s disappearance from the future.
• He-El followed The Flash’s Speed Force into the past, killed Black Adam and Luthor, forced The Flash to restore the young He-El, then killed him again and began a closed time loop.
• He-El manipulated the young He-El and Jor-El, altered Krypton’s core, and secretly replaced Jor-El’s semen with his own to create Superman.
• After watching Jor-El send infant Kal away, He-El destroyed Krypton’s core, retrieved The Flash, and followed his younger self aboard the research vessel.

He-El resolved to master the Speed Force and traveled to Barry Allen’s universe, where he recruited Reverse-Flash and joined Harrison Wells at STAR Labs. After Barry awoke and declined He-El’s offer to become his subordinate, He-El turned his attention to training Grodd as an assistant.

• He-El returned to Zero’s command room, reunited with Ciri, and decided to confront Jor-El after creating countless parallel universes through Little He-El.
• He-El revealed that Kal was his son, and Jor-El rejected Kal after discovering he had no House of El genes and that Lara had conceived him with He-El’s frozen semen.
• Superman fought Jor-El as his electromagnetic field and attacks threatened Kovalis City, then snapped Jor-El’s neck while protecting a family in St. John’s Art Gallery.
• He-El crushed Jor-El’s head, changed Superman’s chest symbol to an infinity sign, and left with Jor-El’s corpse while telling Superman to keep protecting Earth.
• He-El expanded New Krypton’s magical and military plans, ordered the destruction of the Trisolaran Civilization, and decided to conquer the Speed Force to protect what he had brought from the Traversal Vortex.
• He-El traveled to Barry Allen’s universe, absorbed lightning from Barry after the particle accelerator explosion, and confronted Harrison Wells, who revealed himself as Reverse-Flash.
• He-El defeated Eobard Thawne, showed him his future, and recruited him to help research the Speed Force while joining Wells and his STAR Labs team.
• Barry awoke after nine months in a coma and declined He-El’s offer to become his subordinate, while He-El asked Wells for permission to train Grodd as an assistant.

He-El refused The Father’s request to attack Apokolips, then agreed to join Darkseid’s assault on Oa Star in pursuit of Doomsday’s remains and the power of death. After freeing Athena from her dependence on her original self and arranging the alliance, He-El began creating a universe of his own and entered its dangerous Traversal Vortex in a weakened psychic state.

• He-El rescued Grodd from STAR Labs, taught him through a psychic dream, and watched him choose to study psychic power and the universe.
• He-El met The Father on New Genesis, learned of the universe’s approaching collapse and Darkseid’s plan to reach the Source Universes, but refused to join an attack on Apokolips.
• Steppenwolf allied with Hades and offered him a chance to obtain Blackest Night by joining Darkseid’s attack on Oa Star, while Athena investigated Steppenwolf’s attack on New Krypton’s students.
• He-El agreed to join Darkseid’s alliance to attack Oa Star for Doomsday’s remains and the Book of Oa’s authority over death, then brought Athena through a Traversal Vortex and freed her from her original self.
• Athena pledged herself to He-El and proposed an Inner Universe to isolate Divine Avatars from their main bodies, then accompanied him to meet Darkseid, Hades, and Steppenwolf.
• Darkseid assembled He-El, Hades, Sinestro, and Scarface for the Oa Star plan, but He-El refused to surrender most of New Krypton’s people and army as Parademon vanguards and fought Darkseid across a neutron star.
• Athena proposed creating a complete universe that Heavenly Blood would recognize as genuine, and He-El entrusted her with New Krypton and the Divine Realm while he prepared to try.
• He-El weakened his psychic power until he could safely enter the new Traversal Vortex, then lost consciousness as energy began constructing a physical body around him.

He-El rescued Rangiku and Gin, defeated the Urahara Organization, and learned Shinigami techniques while pursuing Aizen after he took Rangiku. The arc ended with He-El resisting Kyoka Suigetsu’s complete hypnosis and beginning to release his own Shikai.

• He-El carried the starving Rangiku east and joined forces with Gin, then killed the gang members who tried to capture them.
• He-El defeated Urahara Jiro, discovered the children’s cellar experiments, and destroyed the spider-like Hollow made from children’s bodies.
• He-El trained Gin and Rangiku in Reishi control, then fought Urahara Ichiro, copying his Kidō and Shunpo before killing him and taking his Asauchi.
• Aizen sent Masaki Seinosuke to seize Rangiku, and Gin pursued them despite being badly injured.
• He-El reached Aizen and Rangiku, killed Masaki Seinosuke after he released his Shikai, and challenged Aizen to reveal his own.
• Aizen released Kyoka Suigetsu, but He-El recognized its Complete Hypnosis by detecting when it affected his senses.
• Aizen challenged He-El to reveal his Shikai, and He-El began chanting as he approached him.
