Background / History

Arisu is the daughter of the school chairman. She had poor health from childhood, relied on a cane, and was already notably intelligent and proud as a young girl. When Oreki unexpectedly appeared before her through Teleportation, she coolly questioned whether his ability was magic. 75 613 627

Before enrolling, Arisu encountered Oreki at a beach when he helped her during a near-heatstroke incident. She retained the memory, while Oreki did not. 292

At the Advanced Nurturing High School, Arisu entered Class A and established the aggressive Sakayanagi Faction, with Masumi Kamuro, Masayoshi Hashimoto, and Hayato Kito among its members. Her faction competed with Katsuragi's faction for influence within the class. 60 63 218 322

Although unable to attend the Deserted Island and VIP Exams because of her condition, she deduced the VIP Exam's rules from school and helped Class A profit, earning the respect of her classmates. 218
