Ino read Sakura's memories, and Kakashi's group set off for the Hidden Leaf Village while Rasa began reorganizing the Hidden Sand Village. In the Empire, the newcomers from World 64 were sent to meet their contacts, where several recognized loved ones they had lost.

• Ino used her Memory Reading Technique on Sasuke-controlled Sakura and reported what she learned about the people and classes in this world.
• Kakashi led Gaara, Kankuro, and the others toward the Hidden Leaf Village after Rasa asked him to kill this world's Rasa if they met him.
• Rasa and Chiyo began dealing with the aftermath in the Hidden Sand Village and planned to gather its villagers and shinobi.
• Obito met with Nagato and Konan, ordered Akatsuki to investigate the villages, and told Nagato to watch the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Senju gave Orochimaru part of the Sage of Six Paths' soul after praising his work on the cross-world transmission.
• Yakushi Kabuto sent the World 64 visitors out of the experimental grounds, where Chiyo recognized Sasori and others cried out to Itachi, their mother, and their father.

In the Parallel Ninja World, Chiyo learned that her grandson Sasori had assassinated the Third Kazekage and defected from the Hidden Sand, leaving her shaken by how different and lonely this version of her life was. She hid her distress from the Sand shinobi and was left to process the loss of her family and the gulf between her world and theirs.

• Madara Uchiha remained troubled after his battle with Hashirama and wondered who the pale, snake-eyed people he had seen were.
• The Sand shinobi asked Chiyo what had happened after they passed out, and she told them they would find out soon.
• Chiyo asked a Sand shinobi whether he had seen Sasori and learned that Sasori had defected after assassinating the Third Kazekage.
• Chiyo recalled her conflict with her family over the Empire and her hope of finding Sasori, her son, and her daughter-in-law in this world.
• The Sand shinobi explained that White Fang, Hatake Sakumo, had killed Sasori's parents during the Second Ninja War, and that Chiyo had vowed to kill Sasori herself.
• Chiyo acknowledged the story through tears and laughter, overwhelmed by the knowledge that this world's version of her had lost her family.

Chiyo noticed that the Hidden Sand Village had barely changed in twenty years, while Rasa ordered the village to gather resources and train its ninjas. Rasa then asked Obito to find food and Water Release ninjas, and Obito abandoned his defiance after reading another message.

• Chiyo handed the summoning task to a Sand Jonin and wandered through the Hidden Sand Village, realizing it had not improved like the village in the Empire.
• Rasa told the Sand Jonin that he had driven off the Hidden Leaf invaders and ordered them to gather resources and train more ninjas.
• Rasa demonstrated his increased Magnet Release power, then instructed the village to study ninjutsu and the Sand Fire Body Refinement Method.
• Rasa messaged Obito to find food and capture Water Release ninjas within a day.
• Obito refused Rasa's orders and declared he would rather starve than work in the Wind Province, earning Setsuna's praise.
• After his wristband vibrated again, Obito changed his mind and agreed to collect food and Water Release ninjas.

Obito accepted Rasa’s offer of a paid sinecure and reunited with Rin by phone, while Itachi prepared to welcome people arriving from another world. When the cross-dimensional teleportation ended, Naruto saw Itachi and reacted with fury.

• Obito agreed to help Governor Rasa after being offered a sinecure and the concealment of his fake stamp.
• Rin called Obito using a number Itachi had provided, and the two shared news and promised to meet again.
• Rin thanked Itachi before he headed to Konoha University to welcome his younger brother from another world.
• Itachi met Sasori, Kushina, and Sakumo at the teleportation area as they waited for their counterparts to arrive.
• After the seals lifted, Kushina approached Naruto and Sakumo went to Kakashi, while Naruto saw Itachi and appeared ready to go berserk.

Sasuke arrived in the Empire and struggled with the gap between his abilities and those of its shinobi. After learning how weak he was by the Empire’s standards, he traveled with Itachi, revealed that his own Itachi had slaughtered the Uchiha Clan, and was asked how many tomoe his Sharingan had.

• Sasuke mistook Itachi for the brother who had killed his clan and attacked him, but Itachi dodged and calmed him down.
• Itachi learned that Sasuke was thirteen and still a Genin, and told him his current ability was comparable to an elementary school student just starting school.
• Itachi explained that Sasuke could gain special approval to attend one of the Empire’s five universities if he awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan or became a Jonin, then invited him to the clan lands.
• As they traveled, Sasuke told Itachi that his other self had murdered the Uchiha Clan and their parents, and that he still hated him.
• Itachi guessed that his other self had killed the clan to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan and spared Sasuke for the Eternal Mangekyo, then asked how many tomoe Sasuke’s Sharingan had.

Itachi learned that Sasuke had only recently awakened his Two-Tomoe Sharingan, while Kushina welcomed the other-world Naruto and Sakumo comforted the other-world Kakashi. The three pairs headed home together, leaving Naruto torn between longing for family and loyalty to his own world.

• Sasuke told Itachi that he had awakened the Two-Tomoe Sharingan only a few days earlier, and Itachi concealed his shock while asking him to keep the other world's clan massacre secret.
• Kushina embraced Naruto, who cried at receiving her affection, and invited him to go home for a meal.
• Naruto accepted Kushina's hand but resolved to stay loyal to the Hidden Leaf Village and not become attached to a world that was not his.

Chiyo arrived in the Empire’s modern Konoha and reunited with her grandson Sasori, who invited her to return with him to the Wind Province and meet his parents. While changing into fresh clothes in a university restroom, Chiyo marveled at its unfamiliar facilities and considered washing herself.

• Chiyo emerged from the teleportation passage and was overwhelmed by the towering buildings around her.
• Sasori greeted Chiyo and offered to take her to the Wind Province, where his parents were waiting for them.
• Chiyo agreed to go with Sasori and followed him to Konoha University so she could change clothes before lunch.
• Sasori gave Chiyo a scroll of clothes and urged her to eat with his family before they left.
• Chiyo entered a restroom stall, studied its clean and unfamiliar design, and decided to wipe herself down.

Chiyo washed up after being kidnapped, then tried on unfamiliar clothes from Sasori’s scroll. Sakura arrived at the restroom during her first visit to Konoha University and opened the stall where Chiyo was changing.

• Chiyo used the restroom’s water fixture to wash her hair, complaining about its wasteful design while deciding the water was free to use.
• Chiyo searched Sasori’s scroll for clothes and tried on a revealing garment, unsure how it was meant to be worn.
• Sakura reflected on her education and the requirements that had brought her back to Konoha University as a junior college student.
• Sakura spotted a handsome red-haired boy near the restroom and then opened the nearest stall without looking around.
• Sakura screamed when she saw arms hanging in the restroom, then noticed Chiyo in a swimsuit beneath the clothes and arms.

Chiyo discovered that the toilet she had mistaken for a clean basin had been used by Sakura, fainted from humiliation, and woke to Sasori explaining life in the Empire. After learning ordinary people could power cars with stored Chakra, she asked how Chakra Charging Stations collected it.

• Chiyo accidentally used Sasori’s puppet arm as a clothes rack while changing, startling Sakura in the restroom.
• Sakura used the toilet in the opposite stall, and Chiyo realized she had mistaken its clean basin for a place to drink and bathe before fainting.
• Sasori found Chiyo unconscious, helped her dress, and explained what hypoglycemia and high blood pressure meant.
• Sasori took Chiyo to a buffet and explained that ordinary people in the Empire could drive cars powered by stored Chakra.

Sasori showed Chiyo the Empire’s Chakra Beasts, then took her to a buffet where she ate far more than she could manage. After they set off in his car, Chiyo studied its potential for war, and they arrived beneath a colossal building as a tremendous roar startled her.

• Sasori explained how Chakra Beasts were bred and said his Red Sand Automations had about two thousand of them.
• Chiyo imagined using the Chakra Beasts to help the Hidden Sand Village conquer the Empire and concluded that Emperor Uchiha Senju was from the Hidden Leaf Village.
• Sasori took Chiyo to a buffet, where she ate until she could barely move and then stuffed herself again after learning that unfinished food would be charged at full price.
• Sasori drove Chiyo through the city, and she admired its roads and buildings while considering how the car could be used in battle.
• Sasori and Chiyo arrived beneath a colossal building, where a tremendous roar startled her.

Sasori showed Chiyo the giant plane and flew her over Rain Province, where she saw how the Emperor had transformed the region and brought a river to Wind Province. Confronted with the Empire’s power and prosperity, Chiyo felt her hopes for reviving the Hidden Sand Village falter as Sasori urged her to join the Empire.

• Sasori proudly showed Chiyo his giant plane and explained how it flew using engineering and aerodynamics as well as Chakra.
• Sasori flew Chiyo through Rain Province, where she was astonished by its clear skies and greenery.
• Chiyo saw that the Emperor had split the mountain range to open Rain Province to outside airflow and diverted its largest river into Wind Province.
• Chiyo realized the Emperor’s actions had transformed both provinces and doubted that her million-strong puppet army could challenge him.
• Sasori urged Chiyo to join the Empire and use her Puppet Technique for the benefit of its people.

Chiyo learned that Sasori's organization had hundreds of thousands of puppet masters and wavered over whether to help him, though she still resisted joining the Empire. In Konoha, Hiruzen Sarutobi urged Jiraiya to become temporary Hokage as the village faced a growing threat, but Jiraiya doubted his worthiness.

• Chiyo questioned Sasori about his Red Sand organization and learned it had over eight hundred thousand puppet masters, with plans to train millions more.
• Sasori pleaded with Chiyo to help him, and she agreed to help while insisting she could not betray her village and Daimyo.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi told Jiraiya that Danzo and Tenzō had gone missing after confronting ninjas from a parallel universe and warned that Konoha could be destroyed.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi asked Jiraiya to serve as temporary Hokage while he investigated the enemy from the shadows.
• Jiraiya refused the position, but Hiruzen Sarutobi insisted that Konoha's survival depended on him stepping forward.

Jiraiya agreed to take the Hokage position temporarily while Hiruzen Sarutobi planned a secret mission that would leave Homura Mitokado behind. In the Land of Waves, Naruto’s team prepared to travel to the Hidden Leaf Village and replace their counterparts before the Chunin Exams.

• Jiraiya agreed to become Hokage if Tsunade would not return in time, and Hiruzen Sarutobi gave him the Hokage robes before departing.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi chose to take the leaders and elite Jonin of the Ino-Shika-Cho clans on a secret mission, leaving Homura Mitokado and a clone behind to assist Jiraiya.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi decided to leave Asuma in the village, but lamented that his son refused to abandon Team 10 before the Chunin Exams.

New Team 7 set out to become themselves in this world while their companions gathered seabed resources. Itachi took Sasuke to the Empire and explained how the Uchiha Clan had gained control over their emotions, leaving Sasuke bewildered by this unfamiliar version of his clan.

• Naruto, Kakashi, and Sasuke prepared to leave, and New Team 7 disappeared from sight.
• Neji mapped seabed Chakra minerals, Kankuro's puppets and Shino's insects mined them, and Gaara used Magnet Release to raise ore.
• Itachi carried Sasuke through the sky on a giant crow, and Sasuke's thoughts of revenge eased as he took in the vast world.
• Itachi told Sasuke they were going home and showed him the Empire's prosperous streets and towering buildings.
• Itachi explained that the Sharingan Research Institute had developed a Psychological Suggestion Method and that Uchiha members supervised one another, leaving Sasuke confused.

Sasuke returned with Itachi to an Uchiha settlement and was overwhelmed by seeing his clan and family alive in this world. He reunited with Mikoto and Shisui over a home-cooked meal, while Mikoto asked him to tell them about his world.

• Itachi brought Sasuke to the Uchiha settlement, where the clansmen welcomed them and Sasuke broke down in tears.
• Itachi comforted Sasuke and changed his shoes before taking him to the manor.
• Mikoto greeted Sasuke and led him inside, where he struggled to speak after seeing her and smelling her cooking.
• Shisui brought rice to the table, and Sasuke was overcome with emotion at seeing him again.
• Mikoto asked Sasuke to tell them about his world.

Sasuke recalled his lost family and revealed that Itachi had killed Fugaku and wiped out the Uchiha Clan in his world, leaving the family in this world shocked and saddened. Mikoto welcomed Sasuke as her son, and after Fugaku returned, Itachi noticed that the two worlds shared the same date and urged Sasuke to investigate what Fugaku had brought home.

• Mikoto asked Sasuke about his parents, and he remembered his mother's care and his late understanding of his father's love.
• Sasuke told Itachi, Mikoto, and Shisui that Itachi had killed Fugaku and the entire Uchiha Clan, sparing Sasuke because of his eyes.
• Sasuke admitted he still did not know why Fugaku and the clan had failed to resist, and Itachi and Mikoto comforted him by welcoming him as family.
• Fugaku returned with a tightly wrapped package, joined the family for a meal, and soon left again.
• Itachi and Sasuke realized their worlds shared the date July 23, and Mikoto asked Itachi to see what Fugaku had brought home.

Sasuke received a warm birthday celebration from Itachi, Uchiha Mikoto, and their family in the Empire, bringing him to tears as he ate the noodles they made. In World 64, Naruto gave Sasuke a Flying Thunder God kunai for his birthday, but the group was refused service at a Konoha barbecue restaurant because of their reputations.

• Itachi presented Sasuke with a birthday cake, and Uchiha Mikoto explained that the celebration was for his birthday and his welcome into the family.
• Sasuke blew out the candles, ate the noodles Itachi made, and cried as Uchiha Mikoto reassured him that she would cook for him whenever he wanted.
• In World 64, Naruto gave Sasuke a three-pronged kunai marked with the Flying Thunder God Technique and wished him a happy birthday.
• Kakashi suggested the group eat and investigate Konoha, while Naruto complained about the food and the village’s bustling streets.
• The owner of a barbecue restaurant refused to serve Naruto and Sasuke, calling them ill-omened and ordering the group to leave.

Fugaku ordered Itachi to bring the other world's Sasuke back alive so he could learn why that version of Itachi slaughtered his clan. Meanwhile, Naruto visited Minato and Kushina's home, where their warm, attentive care stirred his longing for family.

• Fugaku told Itachi to make sure Sasuke did not kill his other-world counterpart and said he would send Itachi and Shisui with the Uchiha's Third Great Division.
• Itachi vowed to make the Uchiha name resound in that world and angrily thought of how the other Itachi had treated Sasuke.
• Kushina brought Naruto to her home, where Minato welcomed him and Naruto saw the certificates bearing the name Naruto Uzumaki.
• Minato prepared dinner while Kushina made Naruto change into comfortable shoes and wash his hands before eating.
• Kushina piled food into Naruto's bowl, scolded him for looking underfed, and told him to take calcium tablets and drink milk before every meal.

Naruto told Kushina and Minato about his lonely childhood and revealed that the village shunned him because the Nine-Tails was sealed inside him. Furious that their son had been made a Jinchuriki, Kushina and Minato vowed to hunt down the person responsible, while Naruto began to explain who it was.

• Naruto described how his parents died, how he spent the relief money on prank paint, and how people refused to sell him food.
• Kushina questioned what happened to Naruto's inheritance, and Minato pointed out that Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze should have earned substantial mission rewards.
• Naruto admitted that villagers called him the Demon Fox's descendant and treated him as a source of disaster.
• Kushina mistakenly thought the villagers were insulting her, then learned that the Nine-Tails had been sealed inside Naruto.
• Kushina ordered Minato to join the next Vanguard Force and capture the person who made Naruto a Jinchuriki, as Naruto began to name that person.

Naruto learned that Minato and Kushina from another world would raise him in the Empire, while Sasuke began adjusting to life among the thriving Uchiha Clan. The chapter left Sasuke at the Uchiha Clan Community building, about to register for Imperial household registration.

• Kushina angrily confronted Minato over sealing the Nine-Tails inside Naruto, and Naruto explained the truth about his past to them.
• Kushina and Minato welcomed Naruto as their son, and Naruto fell asleep in Kushina's arms.
• Minato told Kushina that Akito and Sasuke were being trained to awaken complete Six Paths Mode, but the unstable teleportation channel limited the Empire's plans.
• Sasuke woke early after a restless night spent wondering whether to continue seeking revenge, then joined Itachi and Mikoto for breakfast.
• Itachi invited Sasuke to register for Imperial household registration, and Sasuke saw the vast Uchiha territory and its many clan members.

Sasuke registered as a member of the Uchiha Clan and a citizen of the Empire, then received a visit from the community director, who brought him information about the Nano-Bracelet. The director began explaining how the device connected to the Ten-Tails Server.

• Itachi brought Sasuke to the community center to register him under the Uchiha Clan household records.
• The community director photographed Sasuke's Two-Tomoe Sharingan and explained that its tomoe count affected welfare benefits.
• Sasuke completed the registration form and learned that the Uchiha Clan grounds were autonomous within the Empire.
• Mikoto spent the afternoon chatting with Sasuke until the community director arrived at the family home with his completed identity information.

• The president presented Sasuke with Imperial Law and a clan book of Uchiha-created Fire Release and Flame Release techniques.
• Sasuke read the clan book and marveled at the techniques, while in World 64 Obito admitted to Setsuna that he did not know how to teach them.
• The president gave Sasuke Illusion Stickers, eye drops for Sharingan care, and treatment cards for Yamanaka psychological research institutes.

Chiyo saw the poverty and hunger in the Hidden Sand Village and recognized how wrong she had been about the Empire. After experiencing the Empire’s prosperity, she told Sasori she wanted to join the Empire Vanguard and persuade the Hidden Sand to join the Empire.

• Rasa arranged for Hidden Sand ninjas and Water Release ninjas to irrigate the land and begin restoring the environment.
• Chiyo surveyed the impoverished Hidden Sand Village and felt ashamed of having blamed the Emperor and defended the Shinobi Village System.
• Chiyo remembered a hungry family and compared their hardship with the food and protections she had experienced in the Empire’s prison.
• Chiyo visited the prosperous Hidden Sand City in the Empire and decided that livelihoods and the environment mattered more than the Will of the Sand.
• Chiyo told Sasori she wanted to join the Empire Vanguard, return to the Hidden Sand, and devote her life to persuading its people to join the Empire.

Sasuke and Naruto dealt with hostility from Konoha shopkeepers before learning about their counterparts and continuing their mission to find people in the village. As Jiraiya struggled with the Hokage’s duties, Kakashi encountered Guy while watching Rock Lee and Neji train.

• Sasuke kicked apart a restaurant’s main beam and crushed the shop owner’s fingers after the owner tried to strike him, while Naruto failed to calm him down.
• Sasuke, Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi went to Ichiraku Ramen, where Kakashi explained that the people in this world were alternate versions of themselves.
• Jiraiya heard that a restaurant owner had been attacked by a Hidden Leaf shinobi and told the Anbu to handle the matter according to regulations, though he stressed that the village needed its shinobi.
• Naruto reported finding Ino’s counterpart in the Yamanaka Clan, while Sasuke said he had found Shino and Shikamaru’s counterparts and Kakashi reported finding Rock Lee and Neji’s.
