Background / History

Fu Jian rose to the position of Commander-in-Chief through decades of political and military struggle. He systematically removed or approved the removal of cowardly, corrupt, incompetent, and surrenderist officials, viewing such measures as necessary to preserve humanity during the Blade Beast war 196.

His body has been almost entirely replaced by machinery, leaving only his brain and a few organs sustained by technological systems. The aging of his brain and the malevolent energy close to his soul made his remaining lifespan a strategic concern for the human faction 126.

He led the D5 Comprehensive War Zone against both the Blade Beasts and the Psionic Capital's Six Elders. Fu Jian considered the Elders an internal threat that would create further disasters if left alive, and intended to take them down with him should his own life end first 4 18.
