Background

Peony was delivered to Wang Jixuan in a metal box as the humanoid combat machine Loyal Wingman R99. Although she initially carried a designation rather than a personal name, she asked Wang to name her so that she could better resemble a human and provide humanity with her full capabilities. He chose “Peony,” a flower he liked, and she accepted it happily. 555

Wang later placed Peony in a Great Spirit Forging Formation while attempting to improve her materials through artifact-refining methods. Her system crashed, then generated a spirit body that appeared as a phantom at her neck before re-entering her mechanical body.
