Background / History

Wang Bert arrives in a Marvel-based world with prior knowledge of its films and initially conceals his capabilities while navigating the North American vampire underworld. He kills Quinn, feeds on his blood to become an elite vampire, and encounters Blade shortly afterward. 1 3

After consolidating power, Wang declares himself the Blood Clan’s leader and adopts the title Blood God. Rather than allowing vampires to prey unchecked on humans, he establishes the Blood Clan Police Department, permits S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel to participate, and funds artificial-blood research to support vampire integration into human society. 6 7 8

His seizure of the Dragon Bones beneath the Long-Term Rental Apartment grants him the Dragon Soul and Iron Fist power. He subsequently expands the Blood Clan’s martial capability through qi cultivation, Dragon Bone resources, and recruitment of K’un-Lun-connected figures such as Madame Gao and, later, Shou-Lao. 22 23 277

Wang develops from a New York power broker into one of Earth’s principal protectors. He repeatedly bargains with governments and extraterrestrial powers, builds military and commercial organizations, defeats god-level enemies, gathers the Infinity Stones, and is eventually revealed to be the Creator God. 121 157 331 574 588

Personality

Wang is confident, provocative, and openly self-aggrandizing. He frequently mocks opponents—including Tony Stark—and enjoys dramatic displays of power, but his arrogance is paired with careful preparation and a willingness to act personally against threats. 41 452 510

He is highly pragmatic in matters of power. He recruits former enemies, manipulates hostile figures through blood, soul, or magical techniques, and treats political concessions as the price of his protection. 150 157 438 483

Despite his ruthlessness, Wang consistently frames Earth’s security as his responsibility. He builds institutions instead of relying solely on personal strength, trains or supports other heroes, and often withholds his intervention so others can gain experience. 7 101 108 153
