The Mirror Person tilted her head just as Angel usually did and asked in puzzlement:
"What good would telling you in advance have done?
"As a blessed of Sefirah Castle and one of the means by which the Lord of Mysteries can revive, Klein Moretti will inevitably draw closer to people or objects that can help him advance because of the law of Beyonder characteristic convergence. Even without your help, he could advance step by step. This is also what the other gods and Kings of Angels hope to see. Well, perhaps except for Amon. He is Klein's direct competitor.
"Under those circumstances, knowing that Klein is the Fool would only bring him more trouble and expose his identity too soon. And if Klein learned some of the information you know about Great Old Ones before becoming an angel, it would actually harm him."
"Then why did you remind him that he could tell me he was the Fool after becoming an angel?" Angel pressed.
"Because I was worried that if he still didn't tell you the Fool's true identity after advancing to Miracle Invoker, you would raise your butcher's knife against that 'ancient god whose strength has yet to fully recover.'"
The Mirror Person answered teasingly.
Angel felt her cheeks grow warm. Her gaze wandered, no longer meeting the Mirror Person's eyes.
Because she really had considered that.
After learning that Klein could advance to Sequence 2 Miracle Invoker, and that Mr. Fool seemingly had yet to recover all three Mystic Seer characteristics, Angel had considered how Klein might advance to Sequence 1. Besides seeking traces of Zarathus and the Half Fool Antigonus, Mr. Fool himself seemed to be a possible target.
Besides, he paid particular attention to Klein, seemingly wanting to turn him into a marionette, a vessel
