Nemo's home now looked somewhat different from what Klein had seen the night before. Although the vase still stood by the door and the rough sketches still hung on the walls, a large round table had been placed in the center of the living room, with a large pot of coffee, a small pot of black tea, and some simple refreshments arranged across it.
Five guests, each dressed differently and wearing a different expression, were already seated around the table. As Angel studied them, their gazes quickly converged on her as well.
A moment later, these guests, who were clearly Beyonders from outside the city, looked considerably friendlier. Two middle-aged men even gave her slightly ingratiating smiles.
So this is a Demoness's "social ability." Even without using Charm, her looks and bearing alone can quickly close the distance between strangers... though sometimes getting too close isn't a good thing... Kaya was from Feysac and was a Sequence 7 Weapon Master of the Warrior pathway. She possessed extraordinary strength, agility, and physical endurance, and could easily wield all manner of weapons. Unfortunately, her abilities had no place to shine in Hope City, and she currently worked as a clerk at City Hall.
