Bloodline and True Forms

Several high-ranking demon clans possess distinctive bloodlines, transformations, or inherited abilities.

• Heaven Defying Demon Dragons — Black dragons whose status and strength can be judged in part by size. Dragons below 20 meters are juveniles; 20–50 meter dragons are adults comparable to the Eighth Rank; dragons exceeding 50 meters serve as the Demon Dragon Emperor's personal guards. 89

Population Pressure

The Demon Race's low-level populations reproduce rapidly, creating severe food pressure. Temple Alliance estimates hold that humans, despite having only one quarter of the continent and roughly one third of the Demon Race's population, produce at least ten times more food annually. 270
