History

Early Order and Clan Decline

The world’s earlier era included the Dragon, Phoenix, and Qilin clans. The Three-Clan War left the Qilin Clan nearly annihilated; the First Kirin lost control of his Great Dao, dissolved into the Prehistoric World, and died before the Dao Ancestor reorganized the world’s powers. 255

The later establishment of the Heavenly Court brought the Demon Race into a system intended to govern the sky and order the stars. This control of the heavens was also understood as organizing part of the Heavenly Dao’s authority. 74 96

Era of Saints

The political order changed fundamentally after Nuwa created humans and attained sainthood. Saint-level power surpassed prior Great Luo and Quasi-Saint hierarchies, forcing a balance among the Three Pure Ones, the Demon Race, the Witch Race, and other major powers. 87

When the Six Saints entered the River of Time to investigate the Secret of Creation, conflict between the Witch and Demon Races escalated. The Witch Race attacked Demon Race territories and infiltrated the Heavenly Court’s outer Star Domains while the Demon leadership was occupied with Nirvana-related cultivation. 18

The saints’ traces later vanished from the River of Time, creating fear that their prolonged absence would leave the world vulnerable to another destructive conflict among its major races. 60

Expansion of the Starry Sky

Lu Jun’s use of stars as growing vessels and incarnations introduced a path that directly benefited the world’s stellar foundation. His expansion of the starry sky, aided by Houtu, Nuwa, Tai Yi, and the Three Pure Ones, established evolving star domains beyond the heavens. 36 140 158

The Three Pure Ones drew inspiration from this process and chose to create an additional world beyond the Thirty-Three Heavens, both to verify their Daos and to provide another barrier for the Prehistoric World. 164 168

Structural Stabilization

The Three Pure Ones and the Twelve Ancestral Witches later cooperated to repair Mount Sumeru. With Buzhou Mountain, Kunlun Mountain, and Mount Sumeru jointly bearing the world’s weight, the structure of Heaven and Earth became more stable. 516 518

Relationship with Tai Yi's Universe

Creation of a Second World

Tai Yi’s Nirvana did not merely create a new cultivation body. By devouring matter, energy, space, time, and laws into a singular origin, he established an independent world in Chaos: Tai Yi’s Universe. 561 571

This act differs from Pangu’s continental creation. Rather than separating chaos into heaven and earth and sacrificing the self into all things, Tai Yi retains self-awareness while becoming the laws, energy source, and stellar system of his universe. 571 581

• The Mysterious Yellow Pagoda of Heaven and Earth became the new universe’s Foundation of Innate Order. 571
• The Primordial Measure Ruler became its system of measurement and causal standards. 571

Universe Gate

Tai Yi’s Nirvana Egg stabilized into a Universe Gate connecting the Prehistoric World and Tai Yi’s Universe. The passage permits exchanges of matter, energy, and information and may ultimately allow living beings to travel between worlds. 575 581

The connection is not without danger. During the first large-scale migration, spatial turbulence caused at least one Demon Race traveler to rapidly age and die before reaching the new universe. 597

Migration and Civilization

Major races began selecting members to migrate through the Universe Gate, including the Witch Race, Human Race, Demon Race, Dragon Clan, Phoenix Clan, and Qilin Clan. Their leaders viewed the migrants as pioneers who would establish new civilizations. 597

The new universe’s worlds impose unfamiliar conditions on arrivals:

• A Witch Race Golden Immortal struggled on a planet with gravity over a hundred times stronger than his former environment. 598
• A Dragon Race Zenith Heaven Golden Immortal found an ocean planet’s seawater too dense and heavy to move through easily. 598

Tai Yi’s Universe is regarded as a “lower world” with looser laws and a broader possibility space than the Prehistoric World. Its civilizations may eventually produce ascenders who return to the higher world carrying new knowledge and Dao techniques. 581 582 583
