Background
Di Jun is a Golden Crow and the imperial figure at the center of the Demon Race. Together with Tai Yi, he sought to unite the Demon Race, establish order, and reduce the needless killing of demons throughout the Great Desolation. His stated principle is that any being with spirit may become a demon. 79 96
When Da Yi shot down the suns, Di Jun learned that his son Lu Jun had survived through Nirvana and that eight of his other sons had become Nirvana Eggs. He was astonished by the Golden Crow Clan’s potential for rebirth and recognized Tai Yi’s willingness to risk death in pursuit of the same path. 10
Di Jun initially opposed Tai Yi allowing the still-unstable Lu Jun to pursue Manifesting Billions of Avatars, seeing the path as dangerously premature. After Lu Jun repeatedly demonstrated his insight and assured him that Houtu’s actions would not harm the Demon Race, Di Jun chose to trust his son and pledged the Demon Race as Lu Jun’s support. 63 70
Appearance
Di Jun ordinarily appears as a handsome, towering sovereign with golden imperial eyes and the bearing of the Heavenly Emperor. He is associated with sun, moon, and star-patterned robes, a Heavenly Emperor’s diadem, True Sun Fire, and the radiance of the Sun Star. 123 136 486
- His eyes have been described as containing endless stars and, during cultivation, as burning with billions of fires of faith. 10 136
- His true body is a Golden Crow. 295
- After attaining Sainthood, he can manifest a Four-Faced Eight-Armed Dharma Form. 285 384
- One face is majestic and commanding.
- One is merciful and protective.
- One is cold and detached.
- One is ferocious and decisive in slaughter. 384
Personality
Di Jun is protective of his family and deliberate in matters that affect the Demon Race. His fury at Tai Yi over Lu Jun’s dangerous cultivation path came from concern for his son’s weak foundation, rather than a rejection of Lu Jun’s potential. Once reassured, he trusted Lu Jun’s judgment and allowed him to act independently. 63 70
As a ruler, Di Jun prioritizes the Demon Race’s long-term survival over personal authority. He anticipated that other great demons would imitate his Wish Thought method and welcomed it because it would improve protection and living conditions for weaker demons while reducing his own burden. 93
He is also ambitious and willing to pursue untested methods. He accepted the karmic risks of Wish Power, transformed his Three Corpses into independent bodies, and sought Sainthood because he believed the Demon Race required a Sage-level protector to stand independently among the great powers. 86 87
Abilities & Skills
Wish Power and Divine Incarnations
Di Jun gathers the faith and wishes of demons and other beings through his authority as Sun God and former Demon Emperor. He uses this power to form faith-born incarnations and to protect believers with the power of the Sun Star. 84 94
- Can establish an incarnation within a believer’s Sea of Consciousness. 84
- Can descend his will through an incarnation, perceive its surroundings, and use it as a coordinate for remote action. 84
- Uses the River Diagram and Luo Book to connect those coordinates to the Stars of the Heavens and project divine might across distance. 84
- His incarnations depend on their believers’ lives, convictions, and the purity of their faith. If a believer dies, the corresponding incarnation perishes. 84
- Refuses to preserve belief through coercion or false promises; he considers lost faith a judgment on himself and the Heavenly Court’s conduct. 84
Three Bodies United
Di Jun developed an unorthodox form of the Dao Ancestor’s Three Corpses Unite path. Rather than merely reabsorbing the Three Corpses, he uses boundless Wish Power to transform them into true bodies with independent self-awareness. 86 87 414
- His Good Body governs benevolence and protection. 86
- His Evil Body embodies punishment, destruction, and the ultimate manifestation of evil. 86 297
- His Self Body completes the triad alongside his true body. 212 285
- The Evil Body required an exceptional source of evil to mature; Di Jun used a Chaos Demon God as its whetstone. 212 297
- The completed union grants him a flawless Primordial Spirit, Dao Body, and reserve of magic power. 334
Sun Star Dominion
As Lord of the Sun Star, Di Jun commands True Sun Fire and draws directly upon the Sun Star’s origin. His faith network further links the Sun’s power to believers throughout the Great Desolation. 94 285
- Can manifest Sun Divine Fire through the faith channels of his worshippers. 84 284
- Merged with the Sun Star’s origin upon attaining Sainthood, deepening his connection to the star. 285
- Created the Great Sun Karmic Faith Merit Divine Fire by merging True Sun Fire with merit and karmic faith. 285 286
- Can evolve True Sun Fire into the Great Array of the Stars of Heaven during battle. 294
Great Array of the Stars of Heaven
Di Jun can command the power of the heavenly stars through the Great Array of the Stars of Heaven. Even after giving the River Diagram and Luo Book to Lu Jun, he was able to evolve the array through his own Sun Fire and resist multiple Ancestral Witches. 289 294 295
- Held off Zhu Rong, Gong Gong, and Qiang Liang simultaneously through the array and his united bodies. 295
- The array’s normal operation is strengthened by the River Diagram and Luo Book, which had served as its central array eye. 294
- His Star Dao is strongest within the Great Desolation, where it can resonate with the native starry sky; it is comparatively weakened in Chaos. 334
Saintly Combat Power
After proving Hunyuan, Di Jun is regarded as the foremost among Saints. His Evil Body nearly annihilated three Ancestral Witches with a single strike, and his Three Corpses Unite path is considered superior in foundation to Sainthood attained through merit alone. 297 334
- Can fight through the support of the Human Dao and the stars of the Great Desolation. 334
- Retains combat capability in Chaos through his own Primordial Dao Fruit. 334
- His Four-Faced Eight-Armed Dharma Form is his strongest known combat form after attaining Hunyuan. 384

Story Role / Major Arcs
Lu Jun’s Nirvana and the Princes’ Survival

The Wish Thought Method

Pursuit of Three Bodies United

Proving Hunyuan

Foremost Among Saints
