Background / History

Qian Renxue is Spirit Hall’s heir and Qian Daoliu’s granddaughter. She spent more than a decade living undercover, maintaining the identity of Heaven Dou’s Crown Prince, Xue Qinghe, while working toward Spirit Hall’s eventual control of the empire. The strain of this prolonged concealment left her instinctively guarded even after returning home. 237 266 278

Her relationship with her mother, Bibi Dong, was defined by resentment. Qian Renxue refused to regard Bibi Dong as family and believed that Bibi Dong had caused the suffering surrounding her birth. Despite her cold manner, she has a strong sense of responsibility toward people she considers part of Spirit Hall.
