Background / History

Bibi Dong was once Spirit Hall’s Saintess and intended successor. During that period, she fell in love with Yu Xiaogang and wanted to leave Spirit Hall with him. More than twenty years after their separation, she still remembered him fondly and initially regarded his limited strength as his only significant flaw 3 38 85.

Qian Xunji raped Bibi Dong, resulting in Qian Renxue’s birth. Ye Xinyu later reveals this history to Qian Renxue as the explanation for their mother’s resentment. Bibi Dong eventually killed Qian Xunji and absorbed his power; she admits this herself when confronted by Qian Renxue 281 283.

Tang Hao’s actions made Qian Xunji easier for her to kill. Bibi Dong consequently considered Tang Hao “half her benefactor” and deliberately avoided searching for him for years, despite Spirit Hall’s extensive intelligence network 3.
