Background

Ye Xinyu grew up in Spirit City under Bibi Dong's protection, initially believing that her mother merely operated some kind of business there. Bibi Dong sent her to Nuoding City in part because Ye Xinyu wanted to meet Tang San, whom she recognized as a future threat to Spirit Hall. 3

At Nuoding City Academy, Ye Xinyu enrolled independently, lived among the work-study students, and introduced herself as a Rank 13 Support-type Soul Master with the Emerald Swan Martial Soul. She became close to Xiao Wu and encountered Tang San shortly afterward. 21 24 27
