Previous Life and Early Years

Tang San retains the experience of a previous life in the Tang Sect, where he survived in an assassin organization and learned to judge people through their expressions. His former life also gave him a foundation in concealed weapons, forging, and the Mysterious Heaven Skill. 14 20 29

Bibi Dong's system identifies him as the continent's Child of Destiny, making him impossible to kill directly without causing an uncontrollable change. She therefore regards hindering his growth as safer than eliminating him outright. 4

Tang San grows up as Tang Hao's son while concealing his connection to the Clear Sky Sect. He possesses Innate Full Soul Power and awakens Blue Silver Grass, a martial soul widely considered useless, while secretly possessing the Clear Sky Hammer as a second martial soul. 13 14 95

Spirit Hall's Interference

Grandmaster accepts Tang San as his first disciple and attempts to protect him from Spirit Hall's interest. Yue Guan and Gui Mei offer Tang San recruitment, but he refuses because he values his freedom and distrusts their intentions. 13 14

The Living Armor Incident

After discovering that Spirit Hall has sealed off a crater near Nuoding City, Tang San infiltrates the guarded site and descends into its nearly kilometer-deep pit. He finds a massive living creature, battles its hatchlings, and gains a purplish-black shell that fuses to his body as an External Soul Bone. 76 78

The shell devours hatchlings to heal Tang San and increase his Soul Power. He then encounters Bel'Veth, the Void Empress, and destroys her final seal in exchange for a promise that she will not harm his family. 79

Recovery and Rapid Growth

Tang San later absorbs Sky Dream Ice Silkworm's soul ring. The sacrifice gives him three spiritual soul skills and an ice-attributed martial-soul template, dramatically improving the value of his damaged Blue Silver Grass configuration. 101

After losing to Ye Xinyu, Tang San follows Sky Dream Ice Silkworm's advice to prioritize long-term cultivation over immediate revenge. He has Liu Erlong spread news of his death to avoid pursuit, then leaves Blue Tyrant Academy for safer territory. 148 152

City of Slaughter and the Road to Hell

Tang San reunites with Tang Hao and enters the City of Slaughter to obtain its special domain. He kills more than a thousand Soul Masters over a year, survives repeated group assaults, and achieves one hundred consecutive victories, earning the title God of Slaughter. 198 207 213

He refuses the King of Slaughter's offer to bypass the Road to Hell. Although he and Ye Xinyu remain enemies, he forces a temporary agreement for them to enter the trial together. 213 214

Tang San is also strategic and patient. He delays retaliation against Ye Xinyu after recognizing the danger of her backing, fakes his death to evade pursuit, and later proposes using the two empires' armies against Spirit Hall. 148 233
