Asano Kiyoshi drove Barragan’s forces from Hueco Mundo and began building cooperation between Hollows and Soul Society, then refused Zero Division’s offer. After preparing for a renewed campaign and confronting Aizen’s secret schemes, Asano sought a dangerous fight with Stark and Ninny to increase his power.

• Asano Kiyoshi fought Barragan while Nel, Halibel, Ulquiorra, and Grimmjow faced Nnoitra, Zommari, Szayelaporro, and the Hollow Eater, and the Shinigami forced Barragan and Szayelaporro to retreat.
• Asano proposed making the Forest of Menos their base and working with Soul Society, then established a passage to Hueco Mundo with Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s help.
• Asano returned to Soul Society, where the Captain-Commander told him Zero Division wanted to see him, and Byakuya warned him that the nobles had reported his actions to the Royal Family.
• Asano traveled to the Soul King Palace, where Kirio Hikifune tested his loyalty to the Soul King, offered him a place in Zero Division, and urged him to help clear Urahara and Hiyori’s names.

Asano Kiyoshi led the campaign that defeated Barragan and his Espada, then secured Gotei 13 control over Hueco Mundo and pursued sweeping reforms in Soul Society. After his spiritual pressure reached its limit, he entered Hell to claim land and grow stronger, arriving among imprisoned Koguto.

• Asano Kiyoshi and Stark defeated Barragan, and the Hogyoku fragment inside him dissolved into Asano’s body.
• Byakuya and Kenpachi killed Zommari, and Asano erased Szayelaporro and the sphere that kept reviving him.
• Asano negotiated with Central 46 and the nobles, securing Gotei 13 sovereignty over Hueco Mundo while allowing monitored representatives there.
• Asano used the Gotei 13 newspaper and other reforms to weaken noble abuses, improve waterways, and foster cooperation between Soul Society and Hueco Mundo.
• After the Captain-Commander explained the Gotei 13’s duties, Asano decided his full spiritual pressure meant it was time to enter Hell.

Asano Kiyoshi established Fengdu City in Hell, rescued the First Generation Captains from Hell’s erosion, and returned to Soul Society as the Tsunayashiro Clan launched a rebellion. After defeating Tsunayashiro Sosuke, Asano joined the battles against the remaining attackers, arriving just as Azashiro Soya stabbed Mayuri Kurotsuchi.

• Asano Kiyoshi explored Hell, defeated the Koguto, and established Fengdu City in the Karma Fire Reincarnation Pool, reaching ninth-grade Spiritual Pressure.
• Asano Kiyoshi entered the black pit beneath a volcano, met the corrupted First Generation Captains, and brought them to Fengdu City, where their Soul Bodies could recover.
• Asano Kiyoshi returned to Soul Society, confronted Aizen, and investigated the Tsunayashiro Clan’s rebellion after Sosuke’s forces attacked.
• Asano Kiyoshi rallied the Gotei 13 and Kidō Corps against the rebels, then defeated Sosuke’s Bright Sun with Avici Hell and warned the remaining nobles to surrender.
• While the other captains fought the rebel forces and Combat Souls, Kenpachi Zaraki battled Azashiro Soya and Nel confronted Shūsuke Amagai about his hatred.
• Azashiro Soya’s combined Kidō assault badly injured Kenpachi Zaraki, but Mayuri Kurotsuchi’s poison disrupted Azashiro’s attack and let Kenpachi strike him.
• Kenpachi Zaraki collapsed, Azashiro Soya stabbed Mayuri Kurotsuchi, and Asano Kiyoshi arrived to confront him.
