• It remains prosperous in the Near Ancient Era despite the decline of the other Five Realms, a condition linked to the God Race's residence there 338.
• Its territory is divided into five Great Domains:
  • East Immortal Realm
  • South Immortal Realm
  • West Immortal Realm
  • North Immortal Realm
  • Central Immortal Realm — location of the Heavenly Court 338
• The realm is described as square rather than round. Its western extreme connects to the Buddha World, its lower boundary to the Human Realm, and the Thirty-Three Heavens lie above it 400.

• Native Immortals distinguish between ordinary Humans and the privileged Celestial Being Race. Ascendants from lower worlds are viewed as carrying “mortal aura” and are treated as inferior 248.

Heavenly Dao Mark

• Every major realm within the Six Realms possesses a Heavenly Dao Mark, whose strength corresponds to the strength of its realm 300.
• A Mark represents recognition by a realm's world-will and preserves the holder's luck and Immortal Fate even beyond the Six Realms 438.
• An Immortal Emperor who masters a realm's Mark gains absolute Words Become Law within that realm 300.
• The Immortal Realm's Mark manifests as a multicolored Path of Immortality mark surrounded by Three Thousand Laws; its appearance inspires all beings who see it to kneel 468.
• Lu Changsheng accepted the Immortal Realm's Heavenly Dao Mark from Hong Ling, but it later detached and moved toward the Immortal Realm when Di Tian's unification campaign reached ninety percent of the realm 436 468 469.
• Under the stated law governing the Mark, unifying the Immortal Realm is required to claim it; this condition made Di Tian's campaign a direct challenge to Lu Changsheng 469.

History

The Celestial Origin Holy Ground once connected the Immortal Realm and the mortal cultivation world through the Celestial Origin Immortal Gate. Its unexplained disappearance severed travel between the two realms, forcing later ascendants to undergo Thunder Tribulation and rebirth before entering the Immortal Realm. When the Holy Ground reappeared, cultivators across the world gathered in hopes of bypassing the normal path of ascension 158.

Lu Changsheng's ascent caused Ascension Platforms throughout the Immortal Realm to erupt simultaneously with Immortal Qi, ancient runes, Divine Beast phantoms, and visions of the River of Time. The Heavenly Court interpreted the event as a possible threat to its order and moved to investigate the ascendant 196 197. Later, Lu's command to the Heavenly Dao brought a realm-wide Calamity of Heavenly Tribulation upon the Immortal Realm, weakening Tai Yue Immortal and forcing the Heavenly Court's foremost powers to respond 297.

The revival of the Ten Thousand Immortal Mountains and the Immortal Emperor's Tomb drove major forces, Immortal Kings, and God Race cultivators into open competition for ancient fortunes 361 406. Di Tian subsequently attempted to consolidate the realm under the Heavenly Court in pursuit of its Heavenly Dao Mark, while Lu Changsheng became increasingly central to the struggle over the Six Realms' order 448 468.

After settling major affairs across the Six Realms, Lu Changsheng sealed the Six Realms before departing for the Great Thousand World. The seal bars descent from the Great Thousand World and prevents the Six Realms' inhabitants from ascending beyond it 487.
