Arrival
"Princess Vivi, thank you for coming here to attend my coronation ceremony."
Zala stood at the harbor and spoke to Vivi, who was standing by the ship.
"It is my honor to be invited by you," Vivi said with a smile. "I hope that our two countries can build a deep friendship in the future."
Zala smiled and said, "It definitely will."
"Then I'll take my leave."
Vivi bowed slightly and boarded the ship with her guards. The ship slowly started moving and headed into the distance.
"Vivi is gone, we should go back too."
Zala looked at the person next to her, "You will still be in charge of security here for Mr. Christmas."
"Yes."
Mr. Christmas quickly replied that she was the vice-captain of the guard, while Alken was the captain. The two were stationed at the port and the castle respectively, taking turns for a week each.
Moreover, there were quite a few guards at the port, and relatively few enemies, so it was quite peaceful.
Dalton said with a smile, "I never expected that Princess Vivi could reach so many agreements with us."
"Whose credit do you think it is?" Zala said, raising her head with a hint of pride.
"Of course, it's thanks to His Majesty."
Dalton said with a laugh that he found Zala to be two-faced, sometimes responsible, serious Haki, and sometimes like a little girl.
Judging from his performance these past few days and what he has done for the country, he is a pretty good king.
Paula led Dalton and Elken away, but they hadn't gone far when a voice suddenly rang out, "Pirates! Pirates!"
"Pirates?"
Zala looked into the distance and saw a pirate ship appearing on the sea, heading this way.
"All assemble and prepare to fight the pirates."
Mr. Christmas had already run towards its destination and arrived at the shore, where it saw a pirate ship slowly approaching.
"Let's go, Mr. Christmas can be left to one person."
"Zala said, and the three of them walked away into the distance."
"It's so cold."
On the pirate ship, Luffy stood there, shivering, his teeth chattering.
"It's July now, and it's snowing. How strange," Marcel said, frowning.
"We've even seen islands with dinosaurs, so this kind of island isn't surprising," Sanji said from the side.
"Log in first."
Marcel said, steering the ship toward the small island in front of him, entering the river, and then approaching the port.
"Is no one here?" Marcel looked at the coast. "There are many ships in the harbor; there should be people living here."
"It's probably too cold," Zoro said from the side. "They have no intention of coming out at all."
"But it's strange that someone should be guarding the port, even in cold weather." Marcel frowned.
"But we need to replace the magnetism here," Sanji said, puffing on his cigarette.
"That's right, it seems we have no choice but to go ashore first," Marcel said, navigating the boat closer to the harbor before dropping anchor.
"Get ashore, get ashore."
Luffy cheered and the five of them rubbed themselves as they stepped onto the shore. But the moment they stepped onto the shore, Zoro's expression changed, and he shouted, "Watch out!"
As he spoke, figures appeared in the distance, some holding guns, others gripping long knives.
Zoro gripped the hilt of his sword, Sanji raised his right leg, Usopp lifted his slingshot, Marcel gripped his double-edged sword, and Luffy clenched his fist.
But just as the battle was about to break out, a voice rang out, "Don't fire."
A door opened in the air, and a figure jumped out and landed on the ground.
"That's amazing."
Luffy's eyes widened in shock when he saw this.
"Devil Fruit User?" Zoro remained on high alert.
On Mr. Christmas, wearing leather boots, he walked up to Luffy and asked, "Are you Luffy, the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates?"
"I'm Luffy, do you know me?" Luffy asked with a grin.
"Your brother's name is Ace, right?" Mr. Christmas asked Luffy.
"Do you know Ace?" Luffy asked immediately, his interest piqued.
"Ace?" Zoro asked, puzzled.
Luffy said with a smile, "My older Ace entered the Grand Line three years before me."
Mr. Christmas nodded and said, "Of course, I fought alongside him."
"So you're Big Brother's comrade." Luffy immediately became much more affectionate.
"I'd say we're companions."
Mr. Christmas said, "Since it's you, let's go ashore first and resupply here."
"Hello, I'd like to ask, how long does the Log Pose need to be stored here?" Marcel asked curiously.
Mr. Christmas replied, "Twenty-four hours will suffice, but you'll need to stay a few more days because Ace is nearby and wants to see you."
"Can I see Ace?"
Luffy said happily, "That's great."
"Come with me."
Mr. Christmas tucked the silver pistol back into his waistband and walked away into the distance.
"Ace, your brother has arrived in the Sakura Kingdom."
On Island Number Two, Xia Qiu summoned Ace. Upon hearing the news, Ace's expression changed, and he smiled, saying, "Luffy?"
Xia Qiu nodded and said, "We've already settled them in for Mr. Christmas and provided them with supplies."
"Then thank you, Mr. Christmas."
Ace smiled and said, "President, what we talked about last time..."
"Go."
Xia Qiu said softly that not long ago, Ace saw Luffy's wanted poster and guessed that Luffy would come to this route. He told Xia Qiu the news and asked her to help monitor him.
Xia Qiu naturally wouldn't refuse. After Ace joined Baroque Works, he was also worried that he might accidentally kill Luffy, so he kept the people along the way watching him.
They were recently allowed to pass through Whiskey Peak, and now they've been allowed to pass through the Drum Kingdom.
"Then I'll head back now."
Ace ran towards the harbor, boarded a small boat, and flames erupted, propelling the entire ship into the distance.
Seeing him leave, Xia Qiu shook her head, somewhat sighing.
Luffy still reached the Grand Line, but the crew changed; Nami was gone, and a guy named Marcel joined the crew.
Luffy's bounty has also dropped from 30 million to 20 million.
History has changed enough; it's just a matter of whether it can still become what they want it to be.
"Alabasta is so much better; the Sakura Kingdom is just too cold."
Vivi stood at the bow of the ship, looking at the faintly visible Alabasta in the distance. She had already taken off her robe and changed into a dress.
"This time the harvest was pretty good."
Vivi was very satisfied with her trip to the Sakura Kingdom, where the entire country had returned to order and the two countries had resolved their enmity.
If we support and help each other in the future, our country will only become stronger.
Furthermore, the two countries have established some cooperative projects, although there are not many areas for cooperation, but it is a good start.
Therefore, Vivi also felt a faint joy in her heart.
Upon arriving at the port, Vivi disembarked and went straight to the casino. As soon as she entered, someone greeted her, saying, "Princess Vivi, you're back."
"Nothing happened, right?"
As Vivi walked towards her room, she asked.
"It's nothing serious."
The person next to him said, "A group of pirates caused trouble, but Miss Cecilia took care of it."
"That's good."
Vivi nodded, returned to her room, took a shower, and ate dinner. It was already evening.
"I'm so sleepy. I haven't slept well these past few days. I need to get some sleep soon."
Vivi yawned, climbed into bed, lay down, and quickly fell asleep.
But not long after, she suddenly felt a faint chill.
Why is it so cold?
Vivi rubbed her eyes and slowly opened them.
The next moment, her right hand transformed into a sand blade, stabbing towards the dark figure in front of her.
Kara la la la.
In an instant, the sand blade, along with her right arm, was frozen into ice.
Then a voice rang out, "Princess Vivi, I would like to speak with you."
