Background / History

Before the reconstructed world's current era, Ye Ming reincarnated countless times and fought continuously as a savior. The accumulated strain caused severe erosion despite his young age. He ultimately sacrificed himself to reconstruct the world, after which those he had saved lived ordinary lives but no longer remembered him. Retaining only peak-human power, he hoped to abandon battle and live peacefully. 1

That peace ended when he encountered Keqing and invested in the financially struggling MiHoYo studio. His unusually favorable investment enabled the studio to survive, and he soon became central to its creative work, developing Honkai Impact 3rd and later contributing to Genshin Impact. 1 2 3

Many people around Ye Ming experience an unexplained familiarity with him. His own memories are likewise fragmented: names such as Elysia and the Thirteen Flame-Chasers provoke dizziness, palpitations, or a sense that he has encountered them in dreams. 5 202 278

Ye Ming is a black-haired, black-eyed young man. He has worn his hair in a ponytail tied with a red cord, though he refuses requests to grow it out again. 30 33 189
