Background

Early Uchiha service

Ci began as an Uchiha genin without an awakened Sharingan. His confrontation with Great Elder Uchiha Setsuna established him as a youth willing to openly challenge clan authority, while Setsuna recognized that Ci's temperament made him useful to the Hawk Faction. 2 3

He developed Uchiha Style: Silk Manipulation Shuriken Jutsu into the core of his early combat style. By using threaded projectiles at extreme speed, he aimed to deny opponents time to form hand seals, defend, or recover from an opening. 10 47

Root and the Third Shinobi World War

After the Land of Hot Water conflict, Ci entered Root under the codename Asura. Root identified him as a core member of Konoha's Special Unit and Orochimaru's favored disciple. 113 133

Uchiha leadership and disappearance

Following his destructive Partial Jinchuriki Transformation in Konoha, Uchiha Yashiro acknowledged Ci as the Uchiha Clan's Young Patriarch. 179

Ci later disappeared after falling from a cliff in the Valley of Hell. Kakuzu saved him by implanting a new heart and Earth Grudge Silk Threads, after which Madara attempted to repair and modify his body with White Zetsu, Hashirama cells, and transplanted Sharingan. 267

Ci is calculating, adaptable, and highly conscious of battlefield economy. He chose to flee from twelve Evil God Cult elites rather than spend chakra in an unfavorable fight, only to be caught by a larger ambush at the rendezvous point. 61
