Before anyone else entered the God War Battlefield, once everyone had awakened from their meditative state, they began exploring the heart of the battlefield.
The deeper they went, the stranger the terrain became. What had clearly been a plain would suddenly have a mountain rising from its center. Elsewhere, a mountain range had been cleaved in two as if by a blade, leaving only a narrow crack between them.
"Good grief, it's like someone split the mountain apart." Ma Hongjun had a strip of jerky dangling from his mouth as he walked with everyone through the cramped Narrow Pass.
Dai Mubai sighed helplessly and turned back to ask, "Then how do you think this place was formed?"
Ma Hongjun froze. This was the God War Battlefield, where gods had once fought. Did that mean it really might have been split apart by some god?
Who could it have been? Which god had used what Divine Artifact to split it open? Was it still around now?
Ma Hongjun sank into endless flights of fancy.
Tang San and Ming Sui walked at the very back. Ming Zhen had quite a few objections to this arrangement, but with so many people present, he could not make an issue of it. He could only silently add another mark against Tang San in his heart.
"Their Excellencies said that people have already entered the God War Battlefield. I'm afraid this place is about to become lively too." Ming Sui's eyes sparkled. Clearly, her peaceful life could no longer satisfy her.
Tang San understood Ming Sui well. In truth, everyone had been stifled for far too long.
The farther they went into the heart of the battlefield, the higher the quality of the Immortal Herbs. So they ate as they walked and looted as they went.
