Background / History

Kagami was an adult soul in a child’s body and became Sukuna’s vessel. He regarded Sukuna not as a partner but as a source of Yin Release energy to be absorbed and controlled. Concerned that excessive spiritual growth would damage his undeveloped body, he deliberately restrained his own early Mangekyō awakening. 2

Orphaned at a young age, Kagami was raised within the Uchiha Clan alongside his younger brother, Shisui, and their grandmother. The warmth he received from ordinary clansmen shaped his commitment to prevent the clan’s future destruction. 2 5

At the Ninja Academy, Kagami openly displayed the Uchiha’s pride. He ignored attempts to befriend him, defeated Asuma, fought Kakashi, and revealed his Sharingan rather than conceal his strength.
