Background

Tang San regards Yu Xiaogang as a second father. When Bibi Dong offers to bring Yu Xiaogang to Spirit City to evolve Luo Sanpao, Tang San readily agrees, prioritizing his teacher's lifelong ambition and the cultivation resources available there. He also believes Tang Hao will approve of the move. 112

In Spirit City, Tang San and Yu Xiaogang reside in Pope's Palace and receive extensive resources from Bibi Dong. Tang San's allocation comes at the expense of Hu Liena's group, creating resentment among Bibi Dong's original disciples. 137

His devotion to the Tang Sect is equally intense.
