Zheng was never one to fight...
To be honest, he felt a sense of injustice—"I'd rather die than let you have that?"
Seemingly sensing his frustration, Daoist Hongjun laughed, even with a hint of schadenfreude. "This world was born from the Nine Luminaries Heaven, and the two are inherently connected."
This is absolutely outrageous!
He wasn't really that concerned about dying; he had plenty of lives.
But if someone discovers the entrance to the Modern World, things will get really interesting.
On the one hand, he didn't know what would happen to his modern-day self, or whether it would really affect his life or death.
On the other hand, the Modern World is likely to face a major catastrophe.
Thinking of this, he couldn't help but wonder, "That Creation Daoist... hasn't he already occupied the Nine Luminaries Heaven? How could he not know about the existence of the Modern World?"
"There's another place in the Nine Luminaries Heaven that's outside his control."
Upon hearing this, a thought flashed through Zheng Fa's mind, and he shouted, " Purple Cloud Palace!"
Daoist Hongjun nodded slightly, confirming his guess, and then smiled, "From what I've seen along the way, you seem to have a deep affection for this world."
Upon hearing this, Zheng Fa turned his head to look at Tang Lingwu. Tang Lingwu should have understood and knew that the Modern World might be facing a major crisis, but at this moment she was not nervous at all. She just smiled at him, her eyes full of comfort.
How can there be no feelings?
"I..." Zheng Fa sighed, "If I had to choose between the two worlds, I... I would choose this one."
The foundation of the Nine Mountains Realm, or rather, the Xuanwei Realm, is undeniably important to him.
The Nine Mountains Sect is Zheng Fa's life's work. Within the sect, there are senior sisters who have shared life and death with him, teachers who care for and love him, and disciples who completely trust him. All of these are very important.
However, the Modern World holds a very special significance for Zheng Fa.
"This is the place I can truly call home." Facing Daoist Hongjun's gaze, Zheng Fa unconsciously uttered his deepest feelings. "Only here can I be without any worries."
As Zheng Fa gained more experience, he naturally saw the shortcomings of the Modern World; in fact, he could say that it had many shortcomings and was by no means a perfect place.
But for him, his early experiences, education, and the people he met all made him view this through a lens of idealism.
He was always careful not to interfere too much with the development of the Modern World, and even though he was called the Dao Ancestor, he restrained himself.
Essentially, he was unaware that his ideas might bring disaster to the Modern World, so he adopted a near-laissez-faire approach.
Just as Daoist Hongjun said, what Zheng Fa did most in the Modern World was actually to provide a safety net for everyone:
To ensure that ordinary people can live without worrying about food and clothing.
Enable talented young people to receive an education.
To enable scholars with knowledge in their minds and ideas in their hearts to give full play to their strengths.
Apart from that, he did almost nothing; one could even say he dared not do anything, unwilling to tarnish the beauty of this world.
But is the Modern World, which he cherishes so dearly, about to welcome the Creation Daoist?
The Creation Daoist isn't picky about food; he eats everything!
How can Zheng Fa not feel wronged?
"Does obtaining the Primordial Purple Qi really prevent the Creation Daoist from finding the Modern World?"
"This is not due to the Primordial Purple Qi; it's just that the Primordial Purple Qi itself is untraceable. If it hadn't obscured the entrance to this world... how could this world be so peaceful?"
Daoist Hongjun's explanation left Zheng Fa somewhat puzzled, so he asked again, " Dao Ancestor, what exactly is the use of the Primordial Purple Qi?"
He hadn't asked about it before because he had actually prepared for the worst, so he didn't take it that seriously.
But now that Zheng Fa has changed his mind, he naturally wants to find out the reason.
Hongjun didn't answer but instead asked, "Do you have a grudge against that Golden Crow?"
" Dao Ancestor, are you referring to Lu Mo?" Zheng Fa paused for a moment before replying, "To be honest, we haven't had much contact. Our main conflict stemmed from the Fusang Wood."
" The Fusang Wood is my mortal enemy."
Seeing Zheng Fa's confusion, Daoist Hongjun smiled and asked, "Do you know the origin of that Lu Mo?"
Although Zheng Fa didn't know why he was asked this, he nodded and said, "This person Tribulation Reincarnation four times. His first incarnation should be the Demon Emperor, who is the Golden Crow you mentioned, Dao Ancestor."
"Later, he Tribulation Reincarnation as Human Race and founded Vast Sun Mountain, one of the Five Sects of Xuanwei in later generations."
"For some reason, he Tribulation Reincarnation as the Original Devil Ancestor."
"In this life, I have entered the Buddhist School again."
Zheng Fa said that he also felt that Lu Mo was a very troublesome and tenacious person.
"In his first life, he came into contact with the Primordial Purple Qi."
Zheng Fa was surprised; was Lu Mo's fortuitous opportunity really that strong?
No wonder he was able to become Demon Emperor in his first life.
"Or rather, he knew about the Primordial Purple Qi, but couldn't obtain it." Daoist Hongjun looked at Zheng Fa and asked, "Do you know why?"
A sudden inspiration struck Zheng Fa: " Human Race? He's not Human Race? The Primordial Purple Qi, only Human Race can obtain it?"
A slight smile appeared on Daoist Hongjun's face, as if to say that the young man was teachable.
Zheng Fa then understood why Lu Mo's first reincarnation was for the purpose of obtaining the Primordial Purple Qi!
Lu Mo abandoned his Demon Emperor status for the sake of the Primordial Purple Qi, Tribulation Reincarnation Human Race, and established Vast Sun Mountain with the help of his previous foundation. His goal was probably the Primordial Purple Qi.
"So, his later reincarnation Original Devil Ancestor..." Zheng Fa murmured, "Was it also for this reason?"
How did you manage to sit on the meditation cushion?
Zheng Fa was lost in memories. "I helped the Nuwa create humans, which earned me Merit, and then I comprehended the < Inner Landscape Scripture >..."
"That's about right."
almost?
Zheng Fa was somewhat bewildered. If they were to say they were similar, then he had created the " Yellow Court Scripture " and the other party had created the Dharma Body Method, so they were somewhat alike.
But I also benefited from the Merit of creating a baby...
wrong!
Zheng Fa suddenly remembered something, and he couldn't help but want to shout "Holy crap!"
The Original Devil Ancestor was the one who destroyed the world.
The current Human Race in Xuanwei can all be said to be descendants of the Devil Ancestor.
First they killed everyone, then they started procreating. If you really have to categorize it, could the Original Devil Ancestor really be considered to have created humans?
At first, Zheng Fa thought this was to cope with the Spiritual-Energy Decline, but later, as his understanding of Spiritual Qi improved, he realized that something was not quite right.
Looking back now...
He was among the first group of Human Race to gain recognition.
So, with all those maneuvers, did Lu Mo at least gain the recognition of the entire Xuanwei Human Race?
That's really a bit too much.
"Throughout its three lifetimes, the Golden Crow, though it never came to the Purple Cloud Palace to listen to the Dao, still managed to grasp the Primordial Purple Qi in its palm."
Zheng Fa could understand this statement.
On the one hand, Lu Mo seems to have a deep understanding of the Primordial Purple Qi and has made so many preparations. As long as he opens the Purple Cloud Palace to listen to the Dao, there is a high probability that he will obtain the Primordial Purple Qi.
Even if he can't get it, Lu Mo probably won't be in a hurry— the Nine Luminaries Heaven have always been in his hands.
Zheng Fa doesn't feel so aggrieved now. Even if he feels aggrieved, can he feel as aggrieved Lu Mo?
In his first life, he obtained the Fusang Wood in the form of Golden Crow.
In his second life, he was reborn Vast Sun First Ancestor, presumably accumulating experience before creating the Dharma Body Method in his third life.
Just when it seemed like the three worlds were about to unite and they had obtained the Primordial Purple Qi... Venerable Tianhe arrived. With a single sword strike, the Nine Luminaries Heaven split open, and it's estimated that Lu Mo will also crack.
Zheng Fa felt a sense of relief. If it weren't for modern concepts, modern research in biology, and the Nine Mountains Sect's research on Spirit Root systems, how could he have cultivated the Fusang Wood, perfected the < Yellow Court Scripture >, and even helped Nuwa create humans in such a short time?
It can be said that he covered in a hundred years the distance that Lu Mo had taken three lifetimes to complete.
Lu Mo didn't even give up, but left behind the Dharma Body of the Yuanshi Devil Ancestor, waiting to open the Nine Luminaries Heaven in the future.
This made Zheng Fa even more curious—what exactly was this legendary foundation for sainthood, the Primordial Purple Qi, that made Lu Mo value it so much?
" Dao Ancestor, you said that only the Human Race can obtain this Primordial Purple Qi... Could it be that this Primordial Purple Qi exists specifically for the Human Race?"
"No." Daoist Hongjun's answer surprised Zheng Fa, but what he said next was unexpected, "It's not just this one."
"Not just this one?" Zheng Fa immediately understood what Daoist Hongjun meant. " The Primordial Purple Qi was born because of the Human Race?"
Daoist Hongjun nodded slowly, but Zheng Fa felt that his ideas about the Primordial Purple Qi had been completely overturned.
He knew Human Race were special, but he never imagined Human Race were this special...
" Sage is actually a special kind of Hunyuan Grand Luo Golden Immortal," Daoist Hongjun explained. "The reason he's special is because of the Primordial Purple Qi."
" The Primordial Purple Qi originated from the Human Race, or rather, it arose from the propagation and deduction of Daoist principles."
Zheng Fa didn't understand at first, but later he realized it.
The six sages of Nuwa were able to attain enlightenment, and each of them had a great connection with the Human Race.
Nuwa, needless to say, and as for Taishang Tongtian Zhunти and others, according to later legends, they also established religions and became saints.
Essentially, they all spread the Daoist teachings passed down by Hongjun to the Human Race.
This is why Daoist Hongjun said that Sage are special Hunyuan Grand Luo Golden Immortal, and this is also why—their specialness lies in the fact that the Sage's attainment of Dao is closely related to the Human Race.
"So, this last Primordial Purple Qi was actually Human Race?" Zheng Fa finally pieced together a clue. "But why is the Human Race so special?"
"Because the Heavenly Dao is incomplete."
Zheng Fa couldn't understand what Daoist Hongjun had said.
"Or perhaps, the Heavenly Dao itself needs to grow, and the Human Race was born to grow for the sake of the Heavenly Dao."
After listening to Daoist Hongjun's explanation, Zheng Fa was able to piece together the cause and effect.
"Whether it's my preaching, Nuwa creating humans, or even Taishang establishing their religions, it's all to fill the gaps in the Heavenly Dao, or rather, to perfect Heavenly Dao."
" Human Race is the tool we use to complete the Heavenly Dao."
" The Heavenly Dao are imperfect..."
Hongjun suddenly looked at Zheng Fa and asked, "Have they all given you their inherited treasures?"
Zheng Fa nodded, knowing that Daoist Hongjun was referring to the Golden Lotus and other items given by Zhunти and others.
"They've been fighting this long, and they still won't give up."
Zheng Fa didn't quite understand what he was hearing, so he looked at Daoist Hongjun.
"Their views on the imperfection of the Heavenly Dao differ, and even their plans for the future of Human Race contradict each other."
As Zheng Fa listened, he felt that the heirlooms in his hands were getting too hot to handle.
" The Taishang One will establish a humanistic doctrine in the future. He believes that it is best to let the Human Race develop naturally, as forcing it too much is not good; it is better to follow the way of Heavenly Dao."
Zheng Fa could understand the concept of tranquility and inaction; in fact, he held a similar view in modern times.
"But Yuanshi was different. He hoped that Human Race could learn from the sages of the past and make use of talented individuals to guide the Way of Heavenly Dao in a positive direction."
Zheng Fa also thought this made sense, and the philosophy he promoted in the Nine Mountains Sect was actually more inclined towards this approach.
He also understood that the biggest problem in the conflict between Taishang and Yuanshi was: what is good and what is bad?
Yuanshi considered to be good talent or virtue, Taishang viewed as coercion, which might lead people astray.
"So, the Sage of Tongtian advocates education for all and equality for all beings?"
Daoist Hongjun nodded slightly and continued, "He disagrees with the theory of the Yuanshi Talents. On the other hand, he feels that since the Heavenly Dao is incomplete, there is no need to care too much. He even wants to rely on the Human Race to break the old and establish the new, believing that without this, it is difficult to achieve real progress."
Zheng Fa felt like a scumbag who was easily swayed, yet he also felt that Tongtian's ideas were more to his liking.
His curiosity was piqued again. "What about the two Sage, Zhunти and his companion?"
"They..." Daoist Hongjun's expression was very complicated, "They are not to my liking, but they are also people of great perseverance."
He glanced at Zheng Fa, shook his head, and said, "They don't want to complete the Heavenly Dao; instead, they want to use the Dao of Human Race and my own to create a Blissful World."
"In the Primordial Wilderness, there was never a distinction between East and West; those in the East followed the righteous path of Pangu, while those in the West followed unorthodox paths."
Zheng Fa was stunned, and only then did he fully understand the teachings of the two Western saints—in a single word, "moistening"!
Let's bring together those destined to share this Primordial Wilderness!
Since the Primordial Wilderness Heavenly Dao is incomplete, they will rely on their own hands to create the Blissful World they envisioned!
Not to mention Daoist Hongjun, even Zheng Fa found it outrageous yet admirable—these two people have such perseverance, they truly deserve to become saints.
Who do you think is right?
"I..." Zheng Fa thought for a long time, but still honestly shook his head, "I don't know."
To be honest, based on his knowledge, he felt that each of the six Sage ' ideas made a lot of sense!
"You should know," Daoist Hongjun said slowly, "The seventh wisp of Primordial Purple Qi, you can call it the Human Saint Position."
"It can also be called the Saint of the End of Dharma."
" The Saint of the End of Dharma?"
"This Primordial Purple Qi determines the maturity of the Human Race's Daoist system," Daoist Hongjun. "Or rather, it marks the end of the Daoist system of the Purple Cloud Hall."
This is the end of the Dharma?
No wonder the Five Sages gave him their inherited treasures.
"Therefore, Dao Ancestor, you have to choose."
To be honest, Zheng Fa felt a lot of pressure.
"Not only do you have to choose, but it may not even belong to you until you truly attain enlightenment."
These words reminded Zheng Fa of the legendary unlucky fellow Hongyun.
Seemingly sensing his thoughts, Hongjun sighed, " Hongyun was not Human Race. He was killed by Eastern Emperor Taiyi, who stole the Primordial Purple Qi. Eastern Emperor Taiyi knew he couldn't use this purple qi himself, and not wanting the Human Race to have another saint, he could only hide it in the Fusang Wood."
"... Fusang Wood?"
Daoist Hongjun looked at Zheng Fa: "Why don't you say you and that Lu Mo are sworn enemies?"
