Fusang Wood...
No wonder Lu Mo cares so much about the Nine Mountains Sect.
If it were him, he wouldn't be able to let go either.
But Zheng Fa was now concerned with another question, "What is the Human Saint Position? What is the use of this Primordial Purple Qi?"
Daoist Hongjun stood up, glanced at the classroom in Rainbow Mountain, pondered for a moment, and said, "According to you, he decides the future of civilization."
"Future?"
Even Tang Lingwu was taken aback; clearly, this word was a bit too grandiose.
" The Primordial Purple Qi transcends all heavens. After Nuwa created humanity, the corresponding rules for every universe were already determined..."
"Rules? What do they determine?"
"Your so-called physical rules," Hongjun explained, his vocabulary quite modern, befitting his education, "Proton mass, charge number, and so on... Under the determination of these rules, the most likely intelligent life forms to emerge in a universe are actually all roughly the same. Nuwa's Primordial Purple Qi determined the initial appearance of the Human Race."
If you put it that way, Zheng Fa can understand a little better.
Take the Modern World as an example. Because there is no Spiritual Qi, the birth of life seems to have nothing to do with Nuwa, but rather to be an evolution. However, due to the existence of basic physical rules, the Human Race, which is exactly the same as that in the Xuanwei Realm, eventually came into being.
"And the last wisp of primordial Primordial Purple Qi represents the end of Human Race."
"The End of Human Race?"
"What do you think the Dao Fruit is? What is the difference between my method and the method you are currently practicing?"
Hongjun's words plunged Zheng Fa into silence. After a long silence, he finally said in a somewhat uncertain tone, "The collective, the Xuanwei Immortal Way today values the collective even more."
The biggest difference he noticed while listening to the teachings at the Purple Cloud Palace lay here.
The three thousand guests in the Purple Cloud Palace each had their own cultivation methods, but none of them required the Three Powers, Earth, and Man) or proper rituals—none of Human Race when they attained enlightenment.
In the Xuanwei Immortal Way, the most important "audience" does not exist in the cultivation methods of the era in which Hongjun preached.
Even after attaining the Dao Fruit, the method of cultivating through the help of younger disciples no longer exists.
"This is also a rule left behind by the Taishang."
Daoist Hongjun smiled and explained.
"So, Nuwa determined the appearance of the Human Race at birth, while the other five sages determined the path of cultivation for the Human Race?"
That's certainly true—establishing a religion itself carries the meaning of inheritance and faith.
"In terms of the Precelestial Realm and innate talent, the Human Race is far inferior to any Precelestial Divine," Daoist Hongjun explained. "But as you said, the Human Race is numerous and oppressive."
Hearing this, Zheng Fa finally gained a general understanding of the confusion he had accumulated about the Xuanwei Immortal Way.
A sentence suddenly exploded in his mind:
Every Dao Fruit is a civilization!
The Dharma Body Method is Lineage civilization.
Divine Way Method is Divine Way Civilization.
As for the Yang Spirit Method, it is a structure of the master-disciple sect.
Dao Fruit cultivator is merely the one who determines the will of a civilization.
A figure appeared in Zheng Fa's mind. Daoist Hongjun seemed to have expected this, and laughed, "Remembering the Gu God?"
"Yes, is Human Race itself a life form?"
Daoist Hongjun laughed, then looked at the distant city. In his eyes were people laughing, working hard, and full of hope.
We hope so.
Now, Zheng Fa finally understands why the Nine Luminaries Heaven Secret Realm exists. It is what Hongjun and the six Sage wanted to leave for the recipient of the Primordial Purple Qi.
Just like the Gu God, the Human Race, which is spread throughout the myriad realms, was the only one that Hongjun and the Sage took notice of.
In their eyes, each individual is like a Gu God, a cell that makes up this enormous life form.
However, every human being is more intelligent and has more potential than those Gu worms.
It is precisely for this reason that if the Human Race is regarded as a life form similar to Gu God, its strength and wisdom will far surpass all cultivators throughout history, and even Sage such as Nuwa.
Nuwa created humans not for any particular person, nor to wait for any cultivation genius—to reiterate, in terms of talent, how can the Human Race compare to Nuwa and her contemporaries?
She created a race, and the Taishang Daoist also taught a race.
From the moment Human Race was born, with the Three Powers complete, the path of Immortal Way changed, and the Profound and Subtle Xuanwei Immortal Way was born.
"The last piece of Primordial Purple Qi represents the maturity of Human Race." Seeing that Zheng Fa seemed to have understood, Daoist Hongjun smiled and said, "It can only belong to the Human Race itself, and can only be controlled by the Human Race."
It determines the path that Human Race will take.
What kind of philosophy do we adhere to?
Even the specific cultivation method used.
It determines the future of Human Race.
The figure of Daoist Hongjun slowly dissipated, leaving only his last words echoing in Rainbow Mountain: " Dao Ancestor, you must choose."
Hongjun is gone, and Zheng Fa still stands blankly in the Nursing Home, not knowing what he is feeling.
He now understood why the Five Saints insisted on giving him that so-called treasure of inheritance.
To put it bluntly, whichever faction he joins will be the ultimate victor in this struggle for moral enlightenment.
According to Daoist Hongjun, this Primordial Purple Qi is what truly enables the Human Race to mature, and even to become a unified whole. To put it inappropriately, without this Primordial Purple Qi, the Human Race would be nothing more than individual Gu worms; with it, the Human Race can coalesce into Gu God.
But Zheng Fa's first feeling wasn't pride, but rather pressure...
At this moment, he genuinely didn't want the Primordial Purple Qi.
Regardless of whether he possesses the wisdom and ability to plan for the future of Human Race.
This thing is something any ambitious person would want. Even though he's now Loose Immortal, having it is like a child carrying gold in the bustling city.
What is the Creation Daoist?
But I won't take it...
Zheng Fa glanced at Tang Lingwu standing beside him, looking at him with concern, let out a long sigh, smiled at her, nodded gently, and closed his eyes.
When I opened my eyes again, I was back in the Purple Cloud Palace.
Daoist Hongjun sat on the high platform, explaining the path to sainthood, without even glancing at him, as if his recent journey to the modern world had never happened.
Zheng Fa put aside his distracting thoughts and began to take notes seriously.
The immortal paths of the Purple Cloud Palace Immortal Way and Xuanwei Immortal Way are certainly different, and the differences are quite significant. Therefore, the direct benefits that Hongjun's sermons brought to Zheng Fa were minimal.
However, the two have more similarities. To put it bluntly, the Daoist teachings of Daoist Hongjun of the Purple Cloud Palace are the origin of Xuanwei Immortal Way. Later generations of Xuanwei Immortal Way made localized adaptations.
Zheng Fa wrote this down at this time, which will be of great value for future reference.
As the sermons resounded, time continued to pass, and golden flowers fell from the dome, merging into Zheng Fa's Immortal Body, causing his cultivation to slowly increase.
Although it couldn't match the speed of advancement before reaching the Dao Fruit, it was still more than a hundred times faster than Zheng Fa's own cultivation and accumulation.
When Hongjun stopped preaching, Zheng Fa suddenly woke up, feeling as if he had just fallen into a splendid dream. He felt warm all over and even a little tired.
" The Heavenly Dao is incomplete; after this sermon, I will unite myself with the Way."
The three thousand guests below the stage stood up, prostrated themselves on the ground, and Dao Ancestor the Daoist Ancestor.
Zheng Fa saw Daoist Hongjun glance at him, and then said, "There will be seven Sage among my disciples during this sermon."
Having said that, seven purple rays of light shone from beneath his seat, coalescing into a dragon that flew toward Zheng Fa and his six companions.
The Primordial Purple Qi landed on Zheng Fa's head, slowly descending, trying to penetrate his brain.
Zheng Fa felt a jolt throughout his Divine Soul, and his mind felt like it was about to explode!
His newly formed Immortal Body and the Immortal Soul within it both felt like they were stuffed, bloated.
Zheng Fa even felt as if his head had been forcibly ripped open, experiencing excruciating pain.
He immediately realized that his strength was too weak, and he was not fortunate enough to enjoy the Primordial Purple Qi!
Just as the word "pain" remained in his mind, the phantom of the Fusang Wood behind him flashed, casting golden light. A warm sensation enveloped his mind, temporarily restoring his senses.
The somewhat familiar voice of Daoist Hongjun rang in his ears.
"Don't you have the Creation Jade Disc?"
Zheng Fa was stunned for a moment. Although he did not fully understand, he still followed Daoist Hongjun's words, took out the jade tablet, and faced the Primordial Purple Qi above his head.
The Primordial Purple Qi seemed to possess its own sentience. Upon seeing the Creation Jade Disc, it acted as if it had found a new toy, immediately abandoning Zheng Fa's pitiful head and starting to play with the Creation Jade Disc.
Zheng Fa immediately sensed the difference.
The Creation Jade Disc was his Life-bound Dharma Treasure, and he was fully aware of every single change in it.
The moment the Creation Jade Disc came into contact with the Primordial Purple Qi, it actually reconnected to the Nine Mountains Realm!
It should be noted that the Creation Jade Disc previously relied on electromagnetic fields for propagation, and unless there were special circumstances, it was difficult to transmit information across boundaries.
During his visit to the Nine Luminaries Heaven, Zheng Fa's communication with the Nine Mountains Realm was actually achieved through mutual resonance with the Heavenly Emperor Body.
Of course, Zheng Fa was not unprepared— the Thick-Earth Magnetism Formation functioned as a signal tower, maintaining communication between the Comprehensive Mirror and preventing the Nine Mountains Realm and Xuanwei from losing their network connection.
However, without a main server, many things at the Nine Mountains Sect are quite troublesome.
In particular, it is not very convenient to communicate in various academic research areas.
This is not a problem with the Creation Jade Disc, but rather a limitation of electromagnetic propagation itself.
But now...
Zheng Fa had a strange feeling that, under the influence of the Primordial Purple Qi, the Creation Jade Disc seemed to have countless "clones" distributed throughout the heavens and the world.
This is somewhat similar to Zheng Fa's One Qi Transforms into Three Purities. Although separated by worlds, information can be synchronized through the connection between the main body and the clone.
This is not because the Creation Jade Disc has been upgraded, but as Hongjun said, the Primordial Purple Qi is inherently connected to all the heavens and myriad realms.
As the Creation Jade Disc was enveloped in the Primordial Purple Qi, it naturally reflected across all the heavens and myriad realms, breaking through the previous limitations of the world.
When Zheng Fa looked at the Primordial Purple Qi again, only two words remained in his mind—it's really amazing!
Unfortunately, the Primordial Purple Qi remained unchanged, clearly indicating that neither he nor the Creation Jade Disc could truly benefit from it.
He incorporated the Creation Jade Disc into the Yellow Court, and the Primordial Purple Qi also behaved itself and stopped causing trouble, for reasons unknown.
Without the concealment of the Primordial Purple Qi, Zheng Fa immediately discovered the passage between the Nine Luminaries Heaven and the Modern World.
Right under this futon!
If he hadn't sat on this futon, if he had truly given up the Primordial Purple Qi...
Just as Zheng Fa was feeling a sense of dread, he suddenly felt someone patting his shoulder.
Zheng Fa snapped out of his daze and saw Tongtian standing in front of him, with the other five saints standing to the side, watching him.
Tongtian withdrew Zheng Fa from his shoulder without saying a word, simply looking at him.
Zheng Fa looked up at Tongtian, at Nuwa, at Taishang, Yuanshi, Zhunти, and Jieyin.
The five saints said nothing, but simply smiled and nodded at him.
Zheng Fa understood that from the moment he obtained the Primordial Purple Qi, he had taken over the baton from them.
Nuwa created humans, and the Five Holy Church and spread the Dao, passing on all the Daoist teachings of Daoist Hongjun to the Human Race.
Regardless of their selfish motives, their past Dao Path was entirely within the Human Race, and it could even be said that they fulfilled their mission.
What Zheng Fa needs to do is integrate these Daoist principles and lead the Human Race to find a path of civilization that best suits them.
The phrase "Dao Ancestor " uttered Dao Ancestor Hongjun Daozu is not about Yin and Yang; this is precisely what the purple qi Master primarily does.
The seven people exchanged a smile.
Tongtian and the others turned around and looked at Hongjun on the high platform.
Daoist Hongjun stood up.
He and the Six Saints, as if they had agreed beforehand, bowed to Zheng Fa in unison.
Zheng Fa solemnly returned the greeting.
They seemed to understand that for Zheng Fa, this wisp of Primordial Purple Qi was far too heavy, even potentially fatal.
In this gesture, they wanted to convey nothing more than three words: "Do not let them down."
Under Zheng Fa's gaze, the figures of Daoist Hongjun seven companions gradually disappeared.
The three thousand guests in the Purple Cloud Palace have vanished without a trace. The bustling atmosphere of the Primordial Wilderness era was like a grand dream, leaving behind only desolation. Only the Primordial Purple Qi in Zheng Fa Yellow Court reminded him that everything was real.
Zheng Fa had no idea where Daoist Hongjun and the others were.
Purple Cloud Palace is gone.
He sat on a futon, surrounded by complete darkness, with no light in sight above, below, left, or right.
"Fellow Daoist Zheng." An impatient voice rang out behind him, "As agreed, shouldn't you hand over the Primordial Purple Qi to me now?"
Zheng Fa turned around and looked at the Creation Daoist.
The Creation Daoist's entire face had turned into a dark hole, and an empty voice came from within it:
"Hand over the Primordial Purple Qi, and I'll release you from the Nine Luminaries Heaven."
Zheng Fa suddenly asked, "Fellow Daoist of Creation, do you intend to give this purple qi to Lu Mo Momo?"
"Give it to Fellow Lu Mo?" Creation Daoist seemed stunned by Zheng Fa's words, and laughed heartily, "Back then, he said that as long as I caused chaos in the Tianhe Sect, he would help me become Golden Immortal! And what happened? He said he would have me guard the Nine Luminaries Heaven!"
"An entire era!"
The Creation Daoist pointed to the surrounding darkness and roared:
"What's so great about guarding this place?"
The Creation Daoist spoke with rage, "He didn't keep any of his promises! Why should I give him the purple qi!"
As Zheng Fa listened, he couldn't help but want to speak up for Lu Mo.
If Lu Mo truly obtained the Primordial Purple Qi, it wouldn't be difficult for him to help the Creation Daoist achieve the Golden Immortal.
But by then he himself was already broken, so naturally he was powerless to help.
"I am Golden Immortal now! As long as I obtain the Primordial Purple Qi Lu Mo's attitude?" The Creation Daoist spoke with a hint of smugness. "This is what Lu Mo owes me!"
"Give me!"
Seeing the increasingly frenzied state of the Creation Daoist, Zheng Fa suddenly asked again, "You really don't know what Lu Mo is guarding here for?"
"He just wants to lock me up and doesn't want me to go out!"
Zheng Fa was about to speak the truth again, "Actually, he really didn't lie to you..."
The Creation Daoist opened his pitch-black mouth, as if he wanted to say something.
A flash of purple light appeared before his eyes, Zheng Fa's figure slowly disappeared. "He's on guard against another world."
The Creation Daoist stared at the empty darkness before him, standing frozen for a long time before finally letting out an incredulous, mournful roar.
