  • Diakum restrained Ysera and used the Holy Light to purge the Void seed while Mylune tried to reach her.
  • Aegwynn stopped the Dragon Kings from interfering, and Tarecgosa urged Malygos and Alexstrasza to learn the truth about the Titans and the World Mother.

After the green dragons returned to the World Mother, Diakum warned Alexstrasza that the Dragon Aspects might no longer represent justice and left her to consider the Incarnate Dragons. Meanwhile, Kael'thas resisted his Magic Addiction, withdrew from the Guardians of Tirisfal trial in favor of Mar'gok, and began weighing a new bargain with him as Diakum prepared for the campaign's aftermath.

  • Diakum spoke with the Overmind, which reported that its swarm had survived the Void's rebuke and asked him to obtain powerful genes from the Dark Empire's surviving branches.
  • Diakum told Alexstrasza that Alestrasza's choice to abandon her guardian power did not make her less a defender of life, and urged the Red Dragon Queen to question whether the Incarnate Dragons were truly evil.
  • Malygos proposed returning to Wyrmrest Temple to study Tyr's records, while warning Alexstrasza that Deathwing had returned and Ysera was safe with the World Heart.
  • Mar'gok helped Kael'thas suppress his Magic Addiction, and Kael'thas offered to withdraw from the Guardians of Tirisfal trial in exchange for Mar'gok supporting Lothar's campaign to restore his nation.
  • Kael'thas explained that he was delaying demigodhood to seek the Flames of Sulfuras, and Mar'gok decided to pursue a Commendation Rune and a stronger Arcane foundation instead of claiming the Guardian's staff.
  • Diakum ordered Kael'thas and Mar'gok to return to Stormwind and prepare for the succession ceremony; Mar'gok then proposed a new alliance to Kael'thas, who agreed to think it over.

  • Yrel learned that Garrosh had been badly burned while killing Zuluhed, and she warned Yorin Deadeye that Uthalesh’s Scythe could consume him.
  • Griselda urged Yrel to Lightforge the injured Garrosh, partly to strengthen him and partly to remove a rival for control of the Mag’har Horde.
  • Diakum entered Garrosh’s mental world, saw him repeatedly lose to a dark version of himself, and rebuilt the setting after explaining that his despair would keep him from defeating Grom.
  • Garrosh told Diakum he wanted to defeat Grom to free his father from guilt and fulfill his mother’s wish, then agreed to be Lightforged.

  • Khadgar told Rhonin he feared inheriting Atiesh because a future vision showed him refusing to avenge Theramore, and Garona urged them to remember that fate could be changed.
  • Rhonin revealed that his own fate had changed, and Khadgar agreed to accept Atiesh while keeping the Guardians' power secret and leaving to rescue people from the demons.
