Kiana is intensely compassionate, impulsive, and stubbornly courageous. She repeatedly puts herself between danger and people she considers vulnerable, introducing herself as Schicksal’s future strongest Valkyrie and promising Xina protection despite being surrounded by Honkai Beasts. Her ideal of a Kaslana knight is to fight to the end for those she loves. 9

Her confidence frequently exceeds her preparation. Singapore Incident and Meeting Xina

Kiana accompanies Fu Hua on an intelligence-gathering mission in Singapore. Although she is distracted from the assignment, she helps an elderly man and later protects Xina during a citywide Honkai outbreak. She carries Xina away from danger, fights Knight-class Honkai Beasts, and insists that a Kaslana knight protects those she loves. 3 9 10

Life at St. Freya Academy

After Xina transfers to St. Freya, Kiana becomes part of the group living and studying alongside Mei, Bronya, and Xina. She is a habitual sleeper in class, gamer, poor test-taker, and occasional class-skipper, though she is deeply loyal when Xina’s unexplained absence brings Himeko’s interrogation. 14 28 38 39 49

Valkyrie Assessments

Kiana reacts jealously to Xina’s rapid advancement and vows to surpass her. During the annual assessment, Rita challenges her to a competition, then Kiana is unexpectedly forced to fight Ganesha—an Emperor-class Honkai Beast with strength close to an S-Rank Valkyrie. Though hopelessly disadvantaged, she refuses to retreat until Mei and Bronya enter the assessment area to help. 29 95 96

Battleship and Oceania Operations

During the Canghai City battleship operation, Kiana defeats a Honkai Emperor but is later cornered alongside an injured Mei by enhanced Honkai Emperors controlled by Xina. Mei ultimately forces Kiana into an escape pod and remains behind to destroy their pursuers. 82 83

In New Zealand, Kiana continues to prioritize survivors, immediately promising to protect Wendy despite the uncertainty surrounding her identity. She also argues that the team should attempt to communicate with Wendy rather than immediately treat her as an enemy. 102 105

Awakening of the Herrscher of the Void

Fu Hua captures Kiana and awakens her Herrscher of the Void state at Destiny Headquarters. The golden-eyed Herrscher consciousness refers to Kiana as her other half and confronts Mei, who resolves to save Kiana despite the overwhelming difference in power. 146 154

Captivity and Return

After awakening in Xina’s laboratory, Kiana finds Fu Hua imprisoned and refuses Xina’s offer of comfort, luxury, and safety in exchange for surrendering her freedom. She is later subjected to experiments in Shencheng Pharmaceutical’s underground laboratory, escapes her restraints while weakened, and is eventually returned to Himeko by Xina after months missing. 191 199 200 214

Vimur Laboratory and the Herrscher of Stone

At Vimur Laboratory, Kiana chooses to undertake a dangerous experiment herself rather than allow Mei to do so. After Thousand-Person Herrscher 278 stages Mei’s apparent death, Kiana’s grief and rage trigger her transformation into the New Herrscher of Stone. She devastates the base and attacks Mei instinctively until Mei gains new power and confronts her directly. 331 332 333 334
