"Oh!" Hermione exclaimed, then looked worried. "Mr. Weasley has been arrested?"

"Well, it wasn't that serious," Harry chuckled. "Of course, we were stopped by that Auror, but luckily Neville's parents knew him, and he was busy with other things. He just gave us a warning and let us go. But then we got stuck in traffic in London ..."

No wonder I'm so late, London's traffic is terrible... Sean shook his head with a wry smile.

This incident did not affect the mood of the group, and soon they were chatting and laughing in the carriage.

Because he had to take care of his sister Daisy, Harry heartlessly abandoned Ron and Neville, leaving them in a carriage with Percy and Ginny. Obviously, this was not a pleasant situation.

To prevent Ron from corrupting his soon-to-be-enter-school-sister, Percy even gave up his privileges as Prefect.

Sean didn't comment on this. Ever since Percy was rescued from his serious injuries, his rigid and arrogant attitude had changed quite a bit. Fred said that Percy now looked a little more lovable than his aunt's old vest.

However, Percy's penchant for lecturing can be a bit of a headache.

Of course, this is the suffering that Ron and Neville have to endure. Sean has already started enjoying the desserts that Daisy brought in the carriage.

Mrs. Potter's skills were as outstanding as ever, and Sean was very pleased that her cakes never had too much sugar.

As Sean picked up another box of pancakes, Daisy tensed up nervously, her index fingers twitching under the table.

She only breathed a sigh of relief when Sean finished eating a piece and reached out his hand again, and even her eyebrows unconsciously formed crescent moons.

"Daisy, aren't you going to eat some?" Harry licked the maple syrup off his fingers. "But I didn't even notice when Mum made the pancakes."

Daisy smiled broadly, "It's just something I made quickly, so please eat more."

Hermione also tried a piece, and after showing a surprised expression, she lowered her head slightly and awkwardly moved a bag next to her back.

Why is there such a big difference, and why does Mrs. Potter also have to make pancakes... the girl thought dejectedly.

Sean didn't notice the two girls' drastically different expressions. He happily enjoyed his dessert and bought a whole bunch of snacks and drinks when the food truck arrived.

As they sipped their sweet, iced drinks, Daisy asked expectantly, "Sean, is that secret you told me still working?"

Sean put down his drink and smiled gently, "Of course."

"You can choose your house? Dude, I still think you're lying to me." Harry looked doubtful, and Hermione was looking a little sullen, also looked over.

"Hmm, you all must have heard the Sorting Hat whispering during the Sorting Ceremony, right?"

Harry and Hermione exchanged a glance and nodded in unison.

"At this point, concentrate and repeat your thoughts in your mind, and you will be able to talk to the Sorting Hat," Sean revealed this 'secret'.

Because each wizard possesses unique traits, many people's traits are suited to two or more houses. The Sorting Hat usually chooses to sort a wizard into the house that best matches their outstanding trait. However, if the young wizard and the Sorting Hat can communicate, the Sorting Hat will often respect the individual's opinion.

However, few of the young wizards entering school for the first time would have such thoughts when faced with the talking hat, especially since there was a whole Great Hall of students opposite them, and the young wizards were filled with nervousness.

Daisy clearly trusted Sean completely, and she exclaimed with delight, "Then I can choose for myself? That's wonderful!"

Harry looked at his sister suspiciously. "Daisy, don't you want to go to Gryffindor?"

"This is confidential!"

"You kept it a secret from me? Merlin's beard! Gryffindor is the best house at Hogwarts!"

"Hey buddy, I don't agree!" Sean was now unhappy.

"Listen, man, you and Hermione are both very talented, but overall, Gryffindor better. Think about it, Dumbledore is from Gryffindor!"

"Last semester, Gryffindor came in last, Ravenclaw won the House Cup," Sean said slowly, straightening his posture.

"It's just a year's worth of grades. Gryffindor has won the House Cup before."

"Last semester, Gryffindor finished last, Ravenclaw won the House Cup."

"That's because we're all too active. We got a lot of Gryffindor points, but we also lost a little more!"

"Last semester, Gryffindor finished last, Ravenclaw won the House Cup."

"Grades don't tell the whole story!"

"Last semester, Gryffindor finished last, Ravenclaw won the House Cup."

Harry snapped, "Dude, can you say something different?"

Sean cleared his throat. "Last semester, Ravenclaw finished fourth from the bottom, and then won the House Cup."

Harry: "..."

Daisy and Hermione exchanged a glance, both seeing the helplessness in each other's eyes.

Boys can be so childish sometimes...

As night fell, the Hogwarts Express came to a stop on the tracks, and Hagrid, carrying his lantern, welcomed the new students.

After telling Daisy to relax, the group headed to the school gate, where carriages would pick up and drop off the senior students.

Between the carriage shafts, which everyone else had overlooked, Sean saw a black Pegasus that was emaciated, had a dragon-like head, and huge bat wings—it was Thestral.

Sean walked curiously to the Thestral's side; this was the first time he had ever seen this Magical Creatures.

Clearly, his Magical Creature Affinity was still effective when facing a creature that most wizards considered unlucky. The Thestral's white, pupil-less eyes met Sean's for a moment before it gently lowered its head and nuzzled Sean's shoulder.

Sure enough, there was no meat at all, just skin and bones...

"Sean, what are you doing?" Hermione asked suspiciously, already seated in the carriage.

"Oh, let's chat with the new cutie I just met."

"Communication?" Hermione looked at Sean's side in confusion, but in her eyes, it was empty.

"Oh! You can see it too?" A somewhat excited voice rang out; it was a girl who had been sitting in the carriage for some time.

Sean looked over and saw that the other person was wearing Ravenclaw fourth-year uniform, but he didn't recognize the person at all.

The girl had bright eyes and wore a linen scarf. Although her voice was excited, she had a melancholic beauty about her.

"I forgot to introduce myself. Selma Murphy, a fourth-year Ravenclaw student." The girl spoke slowly and deliberately, appearing composed and elegant.

"Oh! My name is Hermione Granger, I know you!" Hermione extended her hand warmly, "You earned Professor Babbling's high praise in your first year of taking Ancient Runes!"
