Let's Practice Animagus Together
Judging from its appearance alone, this parchment seems to have been weathered by time, with its worn and aged edges and traces of smoke and fire, as if it had not been in the Room of Requirement for long.
Sean looked at the contents of the parchment and was surprised to find that all the hidden locations of Hogwarts mentioned on it were correct.
Of course, it can't be said to be completely accurate. However, within the scope of what Sean knows, the special spaces marked on it, such as the Chamber of Secrets and the Room of Requirement, not only provide the correct locations but also the correct methods of entry.
Finally, Sean had never heard of the other locations mentioned on the parchment.
Hermione closed the book and leaned closer, tilting her head to examine it. She exclaimed in surprise, "This looks so real! There are so many things about Hogwarts that I didn't know about!"
"There are many places I've never heard of..." Daisy, who had been watching from the side, muttered curiously, "The Chamber of Secrets, it says, um, it's on the second floor, in Moaning Myrtle's girls' washroom, the last tap, and you need the Parseltongue to turn it on... That's where the Basilisk used to live, right?"
Hermione nodded. "That's right, the dead Basilisk was the monster from the Chamber of Secrets... But how did Professor Dumbledore get down there? Does he Parseltongue?"
Sean chimed in, "Professor Dumbledore knows a lot... but just look at what's on this parchment; don't try it yourself."
"Why?" Daisy asked curiously. "Sean, haven't you always been interested in these places? I bet George and Fred would be ecstatic if they saw this parchment."
Sean shrugged and put the parchment away. "Because you can't be sure what dangers lie in those unknown locations; unexpected situations might arise. Perhaps it would be better to explore them when we are stronger."
These were Sean's true feelings. After his trip to the hidden Stone Chamber of Slytherin, he was a little apprehensive about these secret locations, and the timing of this parchment's appearance was also strange.
Although the Room of Requirement is not static, even though Sean silently recites the exact same request every time he enters, there are always slight changes.
This parchment may have been left behind by some powerful predecessor, but it could also be a trap.
Sean, in a sensitive state, instinctively didn't quite believe in these things.
Hermione and Daisy naturally listened to Sean; they merely glanced at the parchment Sean had put away and said nothing more.
Sean glanced at Daisy and smiled, "Ready?"
Daisy nodded expectantly. Before coming here, Sean had told her that he would introduce his little pet to her.
"Come out, my pets!" Sean twirled his pointed Wizard Hat, making a tossing motion.
What a strange posture... Daisy blinked. She secretly glanced at Hermione sitting next to her, only to see the latter looking helpless. It seemed that Sean's illness had been going on for quite some time.
No one picked up on the joke, it was really awkward... Sean chuckled awkwardly and touched his ring.
Then, Daisy's exclamation rang out.
"Merlin's beard!"
A giant Swooping Evil soaring through the air, Occamy coiled into a chair shape upon its appearance, and a six-legged cat!
"Daisy, these are all my pets, so you don't need to be afraid... Well, it seems I don't need to explain any further." Sean shrugged.
Daisy squealed and hugged Pudding, exclaiming, "What an adorable kitten!"
Cat-Leopard Pudding blinked blankly, unsure of what to do. However, the girl in front of it smelled wonderful, and its sense of familiarity with her was second only to Sean's.
Watching Daisy quickly become one with the Magical Creatures, Sean nodded thoughtfully. Just as he had expected, Daisy's Magical Creature Affinity was also very high.
If I don't have time in the future, Daisy can help feed the pets.
Sean untied the package and handed the food to Daisy. Soon, Pudding, the gluttonous fellow, started rubbing his head against Daisy's cheek.
The Room of Requirement, echoed with the cheerful laughter of a young girl and the sounds of Magical Creatures wolfing down their food.
Sean watched this scene with a smile, then walked to the bookshelf.
"Let me see... hey, where's the book?"
Sean fiddled with the Jade Piece in his mouth and was puzzled to find that the book he often read, "Overview of Animagus," was gone.
"Oh, it's here with me." Hermione held up the book.
"Hmm, are you interested too?" Sean laughed.
"Just to see. In case you fail to transform, I can accurately describe your condition to Professor McGonagall so she can save your life," Hermione said irritably.
Hermione had always disagreed with Sean's practice of Animagus, stubbornly believing that Sean was progressing too quickly in Transfiguration, which could be dangerous.
Sean blinked, walked over to Hermione, and then took out his wand and pointed it at the dusty teapot beside him.
Hermione looked at him suspiciously, wondering what Sean was up to.
However, after the incantation, she stared in surprise.
The teapot transformed into a tortoise, its dark green body becoming the tortoise's shell, and even the dust turning into green algae accumulating on the tortoise's body.
"Sean! How did you do that?!" Hermione stared incredulously at the relaxed-looking Sean. "Turtle turning into a teapot, that's late third-year material! And I bet you've already surpassed fourth and fifth-year students in terms of completion!"
Sean blinked. After he gained talent points and increased his Transfiguration Talent to ten points, transforming objects into living beings, which was usually a bit difficult, suddenly became easy.
As he sketched the creature's image in his mind, the picture was clear and accurate. Magic was at his command like Sean's own body. Having already begun self-studying third-grade material, Sean completed the transformation of the teapot into a turtle with almost no effort.
He smiled and transformed the turtle back into its original form, then blew the dust off the teapot.
"Looks like I have a knack for Transfiguration?"
"Not bad?" Hermione exclaimed dramatically. "You're a freak!"
"Oh, I'll take that as a compliment—" Sean shrugged. "But now, you shouldn't have to worry too much, right?"
Hermione paused for a moment, seemingly agreeing with Sean's point of view. However, she still stubbornly added, "When you're preparing to try the Animagus Transformation, be sure to take me with you. If you fail—no, I mean, you definitely won't fail! But if anything else happens, I can help out."
"Of course."
Just then, Daisy rode over on her well-fed Pudding. She overheard their conversation and said excitedly, "Sean, do you want to try Animagus?"
"That's right."
Hermione added, "To be precise, it's an illegal Animagus. Sean plans to learn it without reporting it to the Ministry of Magic."
Daisy blinked. "That's normal. Most people who practice Animagus don't report it—I heard my dad say that although Animagus is extremely difficult, there are quite a few illegal Animagus in England right now!"
Little White Flower looked at Sean excitedly. "Can I try too? I want to become a cat! That way I can talk to Pudding!"
What a cute and simple reason... Sean nodded with a smile. Now, he was quite confident that he could teach others.
Hermione, who was keen on following the rules, glared at the two of them and said unhappily, "Sean! Daisy is only a first-year student! And you, Daisy, don't give me that innocent smile anymore, I'm immune to it now!"
She started scolding Daisy like a parent. "Sean, it's one thing for you to break the rules, but you finally got into school, do you want to be expelled?!"
Daisy stuck out her tongue, blinked her pretty eyes, and said in a soft, sweet voice, "But it's so much fun... Hermione ~ Just imagine, if we could all turn into animals, we could go out and play together!"
"Think about it, the animal world is definitely different from the wizard's world. It must be an unforgettable experience!"
Hermione raised her eyebrows as if she wanted to say something, but Daisy spoke first, "I definitely want to learn from Sean... Hermione, I know you, I won't force you to come with us, but when Sean and I turn into animals and sneak out, you absolutely can't report us."
Hermione paused, a complex look flashing in her eyes, then said somewhat exasperatedly, "No way!"
"Are you going to report us?" Daisy and Sean asked in unison.
"Of course not!" Hermione glared angrily at the two who were in perfect sync, then cleared her throat. "I've made up my mind! I want to learn from the Animagus too."
She's taken the bait... Daisy winked slyly at Sean, a hint of smugness in her eyes.
This girl usually seems harmless, but she's actually a clever little devil... Sean shook his head with a chuckle.
Hermione glared at the two of them. "What are you laughing at! I'm telling you, I'm doing this to keep an eye on you, so you don't break too many school rules when you're in your animal forms!"
"That's right, that's right, we need an honest person to keep an eye on us!" Daisy and Sean said in unison.
Looking at the two of them, Hermione pouted her cheeks in anger. She was a little upset, not only because she was also about to break the rules, but also because the two of them were so in sync that she was unhappy.
Whether it's knowing each other or knowing Sean's secret, I was the one who did it first!
However, regardless of Hermione's thoughts, once the plan to practice Animagus together was set, her academic prowess began to take effect.
Several people sat around on the floor, and Hermione and Daisy watched together as Dumbledore taught Sean the practice method.
Having thoroughly studied every rule and every detail, Sean carefully explained it to the two of them.
With Transfiguration Talent of ten points, he gained a deeper understanding of all aspects of Transfiguration.
Just like the description in parentheses on the system panel.
Transfiguration Talent: 10 (Everything in the world can be transformed; you will become an unprecedented master of Transfiguration!)
Time passed quickly, and with Sean's detailed explanation, Daisy and Hermione gained a deeper understanding of the Animagus.
Little White Flower looked at Sean with concern. "Sean, your practice phase is almost over, right?"
Sean nodded and spat out the Jade Piece from his mouth. "The Jade Piece is completely fine now. I plan to start preparing the Mandrake leaf experiment in a few days."
Daisy looked at the Jade Piece with some difficulty, and stammered, "Then, then we should start practicing with the Jade Piece, right?"
"Yeah, is there a problem?" Sean was a little puzzled. They were talking just now, so why did Daisy look so troubled? Could she have changed her mind so quickly?
Under the questioning gazes of Sean and Hermione Daisy took a deep breath, then solemnly closed her eyes with a look of "If I don't go to hell, who will?"
"Let me go first! I... I don't mind if you're the one I'm with, Sean..."
"Huh?" Sean didn't react for a moment.
Daisy blushed and said timidly, "Can I make a request? Can the Jade Piece be washed?"
Sean: "..."
Hermione: "..."
"What are you thinking?!" Hermione roared in exasperation. "We can buy new Jade Piece! We can just throw away the one Sean used for practice!"
"Huh?" Daisy blinked. "Is... is that so?"
"Of course... What are you thinking..." Sean was speechless for a moment.
"Oh, oh, I misunderstood..." Daisy blushed, even though she had mentally prepared herself before saying that.
How embarrassing...
Hermione gave her a disapproving look. "I don't know what's going on in your head all day... But Sean, is this thing easy to buy? I've seen the Diagon Alley store's order list before, and it doesn't seem to have this item on it."
"It's okay if you don't have any, I can write to my dad and ask him to order two pieces...wait." Sean froze on the spot.
"What's wrong?" the two girls asked, puzzled.
"N-nothing..."
Sean spat the Jade Piece onto his handkerchief and hugged it, his face stiff.
He had just realized something—if Diagon Alley didn't sell these things, Jade Piece had to be custom-made, could the one he had been in his possession be one that Dumbledore had once used...
Does that mean I indirectly kissed Dumbledore... or...
Sean closed his eyes in despair; he dared not think any further...
After the little incident, Sean began preparing for his Animagus practice.
On the night of the full moon, in the Room of Requirement, Hermione and Daisy were fiddling with Jade Piece in their mouths when they watched as Sean took out a box containing several Mandrake leaves.
Hermione mumbled somewhat unclearly, "Sean, are you ready?"
"Ready..." It was already mid-December, and the full moon was high in the sky tonight, making it a perfect time.
Sean put a Mandrake leaf into his mouth, and the bitter, pungent taste with a strong ammonia flavor hit his head. However, having practiced this several times before, Sean didn't react much. He shook his head and pressed the leaf against the surface of his palate.
