Buying More Wands?
Black smoke billowed from Sean's nostrils, and his heavy breathing, like that of a broken bellows, echoed over the cliff.
By the lake, Cat-Leopard Pudding who had been watching him, meowed in dissatisfaction. Sean's Breath Attack had just made its smooth fur curl a little.
This thing is quite taxing... Sean shook his head, feeling that he couldn't maintain his current state any longer.
Normal Animagus does not require magic to maintain itself. Sean did not realize that he needed magic to maintain the Fire Dragon form during the process, but after a large amount of magic was consumed, he found that the pain he felt before Transfiguration was slowly rising again.
My current state requires a certain amount of magic power to be maintained...
Having understood the situation, Sean flew back to the open space. He stood on the massive Fire Dragon body, then closed his eyelids and began to visualize his human form as clearly as possible in his mind.
Another indescribable twisting sensation followed, Fire Dragon on the ground rapidly shrank, causing Sean, holding the magic wand, to transform back into human form.
"Huff—huff—" Sean gasped for breath. Even though Obscurus provided most of the magic, the feeling of exhaustion still surged up after he turned back.
He wiped the sweat from his forehead, pinched his throat, and after Breath Attack and transforming back into human form, he still felt a burning sensation in his chest and throat.
Although that feeling won't hurt you, it doesn't feel good to others.
"Looks like Breath Attack still puts some strain on the body..." Sean muttered in a hoarse voice.
He checked his body and breathed a sigh of relief after finding nothing wrong.
"Although I didn't expect it, I am finally an Animagus," Sean clenched his fist excitedly, "And a Fire Dragon Animagus at that!"
He looked at the rock that had been struck head-on by the Breath Attack; the lava on it had cooled and was now twisted, ugly black stone.
The pain he endured before the Transfiguration had finally paid off. However, Sean was worried that his next Transfiguration might still involve immense pain, a feeling he desperately wanted to never experience again; just recalling it made Sean shudder.
Anyway, before trying Animagus next time, I'll borrow the Obscurus's magic into my body first... Sean thought to himself.
He raised his wand; the surface of the elm wood was still smooth, and the feeling of holding it in his palm was still so familiar.
He initially transformed into an unknown black Fire Dragon, but after picking up the wand, he became Hungarian Horntail —the owner of the wand's core.
Sean began to consider another possibility: what if he picked up other wands with the Dragon Heartstring of the Fire Dragon as their core?
Welsh Green Dragon, Chinese Fireball Dragon, Ukrainian Ironbelly Dragon, Australian Opaleye Dragon... and so on. Could I transform into other types of Fire Dragon?
However, one must consider that while his wand has a close relationship with him, other wands might not be so...
However, if this idea could come true... Sean was almost bursting with excitement.
When fighting, it transforms into the most ferocious Ridgeback Dragon; when traveling, it becomes the fastest flying Hebridean Black Dragon; and when defense is needed, it transforms into the largest and most Magic Resistance Ukrainian Ironbelly Dragon...
Will my future life as Fire Dragon become incredibly exciting? And I could even transform into various types of Fire Dragon to interact with their kind, and then use human thinking to trick Fire Dragon ...
Thinking about it this way... it sounds really exciting!
Should I buy a batch of magic wands?
After imagining the wonderful future, Sean felt much of his fatigue disappear. He stretched, petted the Wampus Cat, and then climbed the ladder leading out.
Hermione seemed to have been staring at the ring the whole time, Trapdoor opened immediately as soon as Sean knocked on it.
Sean had barely crawled halfway out when Hermione and Daisy grabbed his hands. The girls were much stronger than their delicate appearance suggested, Sean, slightly exhausted, was dragged out like a dog that had done something wrong.
"How was it?" In the dimly lit underground classroom, the eyes of the two girls Winky.
Before going down, Sean had told them that if anything went wrong, Pudding would knock on the door to notify them—so now that Sean has climbed out unharmed, it proves that he has become a true Animagus.
This time, Sean wasn't joking. He spread his arms and collapsed onto the cushion, his voice weak but filled with joy. "From today onwards, I'm an illegal Animagus..."
"Yay!" Hermione and Daisy cheered, the two girls hugging each other. They seemed even happier than Sean — Hermione hadn't even lectured him for the "illegal Animagus" remark.
Both of them were genuinely happy for Sean, which made Sean even happier.
"But Sean, you look very tired? I don't think there are any records of symptoms for the first Animagus Transfiguration in the documents. Did you use a lot of magic? Do you need to sleep for a while or eat something? Or do you need Nutrient Potion or Magic Replenishment Potion?" Hermione didn't ask Sean what his Animagus form was right away, but was worried about his physical condition.
"I'm fine, I just used up a lot of magic power, I just need to rest for a bit." He smirked.
The two were relieved. Daisy half-squatted on the ground and wrinkled her nose as she looked Sean up and down.
"Daisy, stop looking. I'm perfectly fine now. I haven't turned into a half-human, half-beast... cough, I haven't turned into a half-human, half-beast." Sean originally wanted to say "monster," but he remembered that Daisy had been tormented by the Blood Curse and had a very painful memory, so Sean changed his words in time.
Little White Flower didn't realize his original meaning; she just thought he was a little weak. She fiddled with her fingers a little shyly and said in a soft voice, "Hehe, I just wanted to see if you had any fur or anything left on you."
"Then you can just ask me what animal I've turned into," Sean said, shrugging.
"Oh, that won't do," Daisy said, her expression turning serious. "My father told me that you can't ask a wizard about the form of Animagus without permission. It's a wizard's secret and can only be revealed with the wizard's consent. Although there are very few Animagus, there have been a number of illegal Animagus over the years."
Sean rubbed his nose. If Daisy hadn't brought it up, he wouldn't have known there was such a taboo. But thinking about it, it was indeed one of the secrets that needed to be kept.
Of course, Sean had no intention of hiding anything from these two people. Friends need to be open with each other, and both of them were very trustworthy.
Although they might think they're joking.
"Well, I'd be happy to share my secret with you, but I'm not kidding—listen..."
After Sean revealed his secret of being able to Transfiguration Fire Dragon, Hermione and Daisy exchanged a glance and then huddled together.
Can Transfiguration cause brain damage?
"It's not mentioned in the book..."
"Should we go to the Hospital Wing, or should we go see the Potions Professor?"
"Should we look for them all?"
Sean's lips twitched. These two girls were practically discussing whether he had something wrong with his brain right in front of him...
"Stop being silly, I'm serious with you two." Sean slumped on the cushion, rolling his eyes in annoyance.
Hermione pursed her lips and squatted down next to Sean's head. Sean could see the white fluff stuck to her black leggings—it was from Daisy's fluffy hat.
"You're upset just because I was joking? Hehe, you double standard!" The girl stuck out her tongue at him condescendingly.
"I'm not unhappy," Sean chuckled and shook his head, "But you two believed it?"
Hermione looked at her strangely and said, "You believed me?"
Daisy, who was standing next to her, nodded in agreement.
This left Sean speechless; he had been wondering how to explain things to the two of them.
"Um, don't you guys think, uh—it's unbelievable?" He finally managed to blurt out after a long pause.
Hermione, resting her chin on her hand, squatted down beside him and slowly began to speak, "Hmm... it was indeed hard to believe when I first heard it, but I quickly relaxed. On one hand, Professor Dumbledore said that there are too many things in the Magical World that we don't understand. Who can guarantee that they have all the knowledge? Besides, there are too few recorded cases of Animagus. I've even wondered if anyone has ever turned into Magical Creatures or something..."
"On the other hand," she paused, her voice tinged with helplessness and resentment, "A guy who can modify a spell in just two hours, a guy whose 'pet' can bully older students, I wouldn't be surprised by anything you can do."
"Oh, is that how I am?" Sean blinked. "Can I take that as a compliment, Miss Granger?"
"That depends on how thick-skinned you are, Mr. Wallop." Hermione raised her head.
Daisy tilted her head and watched this scene from the side. She pursed her lips and whispered, "Then, can Hermione and I turn into Magical Creatures when we Transfiguration?"
"I can't guarantee that," Sean replied. "I haven't yet grasped the nature of Animagus's Transfiguration."
"Hmm—" Daisy blinked, "Can I ride on your back for a spin then?"
"I don't think this is a problem," Sean said with a smile.
The group discussed Sean's Fire Dragon form in the underground classroom for a while. By noon, Sean was too tired to move and stayed in the classroom. Hermione and Daisy went to the Great Hall for lunch and brought him some food.
Just as Sean was lying down recovering his strength, the classroom door was pushed open.
"Back so quickly... uh, Mr. Grindelwald?"
