Veronica is an Archmage of Haluar and Deva's mother. By her early thirties, she had already held the title of Archmage for a decade; despite her rank, her experiments, tower, equipment, and research expenses left her owing the Council substantial debt. 109 137 232

She is a fellow student and junior to Lavoisier, whom she addresses as her senior brother. When Lavoisier's Simulacrum warned her that Du Pont's ambition and rapid growth could become uncontrollable, she nevertheless pursued his transfer into her tutelage. 127 223

Veronica met Du Pont in White Stone City's Black Market, where she tested his background, intelligence, conduct, and magical potential.
