Background / History

Sasuke was the youngest child of the Uchiha Clan and grew up isolated from children outside the clan. He was deeply attached to his older brother, Itachi, and resented the time Itachi's duties took away from them. Naruto's deliveries to the Uchiha compound led to an early friendship, though Sasuke was possessive of Itachi's attention. 5 6

The Uchiha Clan massacre left Sasuke traumatized and unresponsive beside the bodies of his parents. He awakened his Sharingan during the attack and saw Itachi claim responsibility, while Itachi urged him to grow stronger through hatred.
