Background

Xiao Wu entered Nuoding Academy as a work-study student with Innate Full Soul Power but no bedding or money. She initially tried to secure a place to sleep through tearful appeals to Tang San, then immediately focused on obtaining a spirit ring after learning about the Spirit Hall subsidy. Her original choice was the close-combat skill Waist Bow. 8

Chen Feng recognized that her rabbit martial soul could not ordinarily account for Innate Full Soul Power and proposed that it was an evolved Soft Bone Rabbit. Xiao Wu accepted the title Soft Bone Rabbit Emperor, then chose an energy-evolution route rather than adding dragon-kind bloodline and developing scales. She selected the moon attribute after learning of the ancient moon-attributed divine beast, the Tai Yin Jade Rabbit. 10 11

To begin this path, Xiao Wu sought a Moon-Drawing Fox in Sand Gold Valley. She left camp alone at night, located the target, and self-condensed her first spirit ring without killing it. Her resulting Moon-Drawing skill established moonlight as the foundation of her combat style. 18 26 28

Xiao Wu later returned to the Star Dou Great Forest, where Da Ming supplied her with Storage Soul Tools. A Blood-red Gem transported her into a desolate realm beneath a Crimson Moon; a silver-white giant wolf prevented her corruption and erased her memories of the encounter. 51 52

Chen Feng eventually confirmed that Xiao Wu was a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast in human form, but kept this secret until Tang San encountered her with Er Ming. Tang San accepted her identity, strengthening the trio’s trust rather than ending their friendship. 83 105
