Nine-Tails and Anju

Inside the dim Sealing Space.

A large orange fox huffily voiced its dissatisfaction.

It was none other than the Nine-Tails.

"Kurama, we're one and the same. Don't be angry."

A voice sounded in the Nine-Tails' mind.

"I never should have believed you!"

"Why not? Isn't this much better? At least I didn't end up in the Shinigami's Stomach."

"But I'm still sealed up and have lost my freedom!"

"Trust me. Things will get better."

"Aren't you sealed too? What makes you think things will get better?"

"Because I'm you from the future. Besides, I'm inside Kushina. You know what Kushina Uzumaki's Sealing Space is like, right?"

Kurama fell silent.

He had stayed in Kushina Uzumaki's Sealing Space before. It truly was no place for a Tailed Beast—the seal had been incredibly tight.

Anju said happily, "But compared to your situation back then, I have Minato Namikaze's Chakra Body here, so Kushina won't seal me away completely."

"What are you planning to do?" Kurama asked doubtfully.

"Obviously, raise the Jinchuriki properly. Oh, right, I'll borrow your Chakra to visit your side, and you can borrow mine to come over here."

"Hehe, I don't know that much. But to raise the Child of Destiny and fight Madara Uchiha in the future, we'll have to give it everything we've got."

"If everything you say is true, then of course we must."

"I'm you from the future. Would I lie to you?"

"Hmph. I just hope this Child of Destiny amounts to something."

After saying that, Kurama lay down on the floor of the Sealing Space and stopped speaking to Anju.

Having calmed Kurama down, Anju looked once more at Kushina Uzumaki, who had newly appeared in the Sealing Space.

"Hey, are you two done yet? You're flirting in my Sealing Space. Have you considered how I feel?"

Kushina Uzumaki had not yet awakened in the hospital, but her consciousness had already entered the Sealing Space.

The first thing she did was begin apologizing to Minato Namikaze. The two kept apologizing until they ended up embracing.

Then they started torturing the single guy.

Though, Anju really was a dog now.

Foxes were canines too!

Anju's original name was Li Anju. He had graduated from college just a year ago and did videos and multimedia work on the side. His work account was called Anju. He liked raising cats and had two orange cats at home.

One morning, he went out to take out the trash. Then pain exploded atop his head, and he knew nothing else.

When he woke again, he saw the scene from Naruto where Minato and Kushina sealed the Nine-Tails. The worst part was that he had been a participant too—and the most tragic participant of all!

"Damn Nine-Tails, this is all your fault!"

Kushina Uzumaki turned around and glared viciously in the direction of the voice.

Then she realized there was no sign of the Nine-Tails at all.

Minato Namikaze pointed downward.

Kushina Uzumaki looked at the ground.

What little girl could resist a fluffy little fox?

Kushina was merely a slightly older little girl herself. How old was she? Twenty-four!

"This is the Nine-Tails?"

Kushina Uzumaki immediately picked Anju up and rubbed her face against his fur.

Minato Namikaze could hardly stand the sight, feeling a little jealous of Anju for stealing his wife.

Holding Anju, Kushina came to her senses and raised him with both hands. "That's right, you're the Nine-Tails. Tell me! What's your purpose in turning into this?"

Then she hugged Anju again. "Aww, if I'd known the Nine-Tails was this cute, I wouldn't have sealed you so tightly."

Hearing this, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki both came to their senses.

Though Kushina in the Sealing Space wanted to awaken, Kushina on the hospital bed showed no signs of waking.

"Maybe her body is too weak," Anju said.

Anju rolled his eyes. "Both you and I are sealed in here. Whatever I do, wouldn't you see it all clearly?"

Anju recalled the original story and guessed that Kushina had already been weak after giving birth. Then she had lost her Tailed Beast for a time, which must have doubled her weakness.

"Wait. If I stay asleep forever, won't I never get to see my little Naruto?"

"You won't, Kushina. The Third Hokage will definitely cure you."

Minato Namikaze sat down again in the pavilion Anju had created. He knew that as long as Kushina was not dead, the Third Hokage would definitely save her.

Just as Anju had said, Konoha needed a Jinchuriki.

He could not talk like that. He was still sealed by Kushina!

"I only know that the Masked Man isn't Madara Uchiha. His Chakra presence is different. As for anything else, you know I was controlled by the Sharingan."

Anju put on an air of not knowing much either.
