History

Chakra arrived in the past during the Nine-Tails attack, presenting himself as a future version of Kurama. Using his knowledge of future events, he persuaded Kurama and Minato Namikaze to alter the original sealing: Naruto received part of Kurama, while Chakra and a portion of Minato’s Chakra were sealed into Kushina Uzumaki to keep her alive. 1 2

Within the sealing spaces, Chakra acted as a planner and mediator. He pushed Kurama to consider cooperation with humans, encouraged Minato to research ninjutsu, and used Chakra to sustain Minato’s otherwise unstable Chakra body. Their relationship later deteriorated after Minato opposed Chakra’s willingness to provoke conflict involving the Uchiha Clan. 9 27

He helped shape Naruto’s early development by creating small Chakra monsters for training and guiding Naruto toward an understanding of Kurama’s resentment rather than treating the tailed beast as a source of power. When Kushina sealed Naruto’s memories and cut off direct access, Chakra and Kurama shifted to an indirect plan centered on a detached Nine-Tails tail fragment and Naruto’s eventual Sage Chakra growth. 40 127
