Background

Obito was believed dead before resurfacing as an Akatsuki operative working alongside Zetsu and Nagato. He covertly controlled Kirigakure’s Mizukage, Yagura Karatachi, through the Mangekyō Sharingan. 5 6

He adopted the identity of “Madara Uchiha” and pursued the Eye of the Moon plan to create a world where Rin Nohara could exist beside him. At Rin’s grave, he vowed that his plan would succeed. 46 58
