As soon as Gu Ding withdrew from Hake's Soul Space, Hake quickly regained control of his body and woke up.
"Did it work?!" Beika looked at Hake with a hint of wariness as he asked Gu Ding.
"Mm, it's resolved." Gu Ding nodded with a smile.
"But the fluctuations coming from him still faintly feel like that previous Will Projection." Beika sent this message to Gu Ding in secret.
"That's because the Will Projection tried to forcibly assimilate his consciousness, only to be devoured by him instead. He can now use a portion of the Soul Slaughtering Blood Blade's power." Gu Ding sent back an explanation.
"How can you be sure he's really Hake and not the Will Projection in disguise? That Main God Artifact has existed for an extremely long time. Its intelligence is fully comparable to a human's." Beika was still somewhat uneasy.
"Don't worry. I can tell whether he's Hake just by looking into his eyes. Even though I hadn't seen Hake for over three years, I won't mistake him." Gu Ding answered with complete certainty.
Hearing Gu Ding say that, Beika said nothing more. "I'll take you out. Stay close behind me. Each passage I open will last no more than three seconds. If you miss it, I'll have to reenter the upper Dream World."
"Understood." Hake nodded at Beika. Though he was not one for words, Beika was, after all, the helper Gu Ding had brought to save him. Remaining completely silent would have been impolite.
Beika swiftly formed hand seals with both hands while chanting under his breath. A black opening gradually condensed in the void not far in front of him.
