History

Founding era

The Uchiha and Senju clans jointly ended the Warring States Period and founded Konoha. Their alliance attracted smaller clans to the new village, while the two founding clans assumed responsibility for protecting them. 40

The clans later diverged over how to preserve peace. The Senju favored avoiding further wars and distributing the tailed beasts among the major nations, while the Uchiha's opposing position eventually contributed to their isolation within Konoha and their association with the Konoha Military Police Force. 40

After the Nine-Tails' Rampage

The Sharingan reflected in the Nine-Tails' eyes placed the Uchiha under immediate suspicion. Konoha's leadership used reconstruction as grounds to relocate the clan from the village center to the outskirts, deepening the divide between the village and the clan. 1 2 4
