Background / History

The realm was established nearly a million years ago by the Innate Star Lord and seventeen Dao Integration Realm scattered immortals. Using an Innate Spiritual Treasure and the Great Thousand Teleportation Great Law, they moved worlds into the void and arranged them into an Innate Great Formation. It subsequently became a refuge for powerful scattered immortals, their disciples, and cultivators seeking protection. 380 475

Its growth relied on accepting Dao Refining Realm cultivators who had refined a world's Gate of Life and Death. The realm used the power of its banner to relocate these otherwise immovable worlds into its formation, while the newcomers contributed their worlds as new nodes and received the realm's protection in return. 402

For much of its history, the Innate Star Lord left routine authority to Tianxing Sanren. The realm repeatedly fought the Heavenly Demon Realm and once used that conflict to strengthen itself, but its stability deteriorated after the Innate Star Lord disappeared into the Great Void and failed to return. 402 418 475

Following devastating realm wars, the deaths and departures of Star Lords, and the destruction of numerous worlds, Tianxing Sanren considered relinquishing the Realm Lord position. Kongchenzi, known within the realm as Rahu Star Lord, emerged as the only figure with the prestige and strength to succeed him after defeating the Creation Heavenly Demon Lord. 475 476

Under Kongchenzi, the realm was rebuilt, its Star Chessboard and teleportation network restored, and conquered demon worlds were moved into its star sea. Its former loose structure was increasingly reorganized into a centralized realm under a Heavenly Emperor. 477 479 502

The Scattered Immortal Realm occupies an immense expanse of void formed from linked celestial bodies rather than a single world. Its components are bound together through star power and a shared formation.

War with the Heavenly Demon Realm

The Scattered Immortal Realm's long-running conflict with the Heavenly Demon Realm escalated into a full realm war after both sides mobilized their Dao Integration ancestors and spiritual treasures. 402 403

The Great Black Heaven Demon Ancestor nearly caused the realm's collapse using a top-grade Postnatal Spiritual Treasure designed to counter its star-based defenses. Tianxing Sanren and the Star Lords defended the formation while Kongchenzi, acting through Wuxiang Sheng's identity, entered the conflict as the Formless Realm's Supreme. 408

The Creation Heavenly Demon Lord later exploited the Innate Star Lord's absence, demanding that the Star Lords submit to the Heavenly Demon Realm or face renewed war after a one-hundred-year reprieve. 418

World Destroying Black Lotus Crisis

The Great Calamity Heavenly Demon Ancestor deployed the World Destroying Black Lotus near the realm. The treasure spread destructive energy through the void and drained the realm's star power, threatening to end the Four Symbols Star Great Formation while Tianxing Sanren and the Star Dou Master were unavailable. 454

Kongchenzi's intervention against the Creation Heavenly Demon Lord ultimately shifted the balance of the conflict. His ascent as the Great Sun Deity allowed him to grievously wound the enemy and seize several of the enemy's spiritual treasures. 469

Decline and Reconstruction

The wars destroyed many worlds and killed numerous Realm Lords. Many Star Lords departed rather than remain in a realm without the Innate Star Lord's protection, leaving the once-prosperous star sea in rapid decline. 474 477

Kongchenzi restored the Star Chessboard, incorporated the star sea into Cloud Lord's expanding cave-heaven, and invited the realm's immortals to conquer and claim former demon worlds. 478 479
