Background / History

Ancient lineage and downfall

According to Demon Venerable Mo Fei, Blood God Son was a fellow disciple of the Creation Heavenly Demon Lord and inherited the most orthodox teachings of an ancient Supreme Being whose lineage contained numerous Dao Integration ancestors. He attempted to command that lineage after its founder's death, but its members rejected him and went their separate ways. 383

He later stole a Demonic Scripture from the site of his master’s demise in hopes of reaching the Creation Realm. The act turned former fellow disciples against him and deepened his enmity with the Creation Heavenly Demon Lord. 383

At his height, Blood God Son used the Netherworld Blood Sea Great Dao and Demonic Tribulation Scripture to devastate the Heavenly Demon Realm: demons were controlled, the Sea of Blood spread through the void, and Demon Heavens were consumed. Though a Dao Integration cultivator, he was capable of contesting Creation Realm opponents. 416

The Creation Heavenly Demon Lord eventually defeated him, seized his spiritual treasures, and shattered his Dao Integration Heaven and Earth. Blood God Son later rebuilt his foundation, hid his Abyss Realm in a void hole, and traveled to the Three Emperors Realm to recover by devouring living beings with his Great Blood Sea technique. Kong Sang Goddess discovered and sealed him within the Crimson Emperor Divine Mountain for five hundred thousand years. 389 416

Abyss Realm captivity

Kongchenzi brought the Crimson Emperor Divine Mountain to the Abyss Realm and used its threat of destruction to force Blood God Son’s disciples—Kill Heaven, Kill Earth, Kill Life, and Mo Fei—to surrender. The four opened the realm’s gate and offered the Sea of Blood to Kongchenzi rather than risk annihilation for their ancestor. 382

The disciples alleged that Blood God Son had accepted more than four hundred disciples but treated them as cultivation material, teaching them the Blood Scripture only to refine them into Blood Gods after they achieved longevity. 383

Blood God Son attempted to escape by destroying his own body, attacking the mountain’s restrictions, and transforming his True Spirit into an artifact-compatible Primal Spirit. Kongchenzi anticipated the attempt, however, and had Crimson Cloud Yuanjun refine the Crimson Emperor Divine Mountain using Blood God Son’s own method. 387

His attempt made him the mountain’s artifact spirit rather than its master. Kongchenzi and Crimson Cloud Yuanjun then refined him while suppressing his attempt to destroy the world through the Netherworld Blood Sea Great Dao divine light. 388

Alliance with Kongchenzi

After his defeat, Blood God Son gradually became an unwilling but valuable adviser to Kongchenzi. He explained the requirements for integrating the Solar Star Lord Great Dao, including obtaining Great Sun Golden Flames, condensing thirty-six Innate Law Talismans, securing the Star Dao Integration Method, and borrowing the Innate Taiyin Star’s power. 396

The two later swore a Dao oath of alliance. Blood God Son sought freedom and the return of his Netherworld Blood Sea divine light, while Kongchenzi sought his knowledge and aid against the Creation Heavenly Demon Lord. 424

During the siege by ten Heavenly Demon Realm ancestors, Blood God Son chose to hold them back rather than flee, relying on his reforged Abi Sword and restored Blood Sea power to recover part of his former combat strength. 462 464

Kongchenzi eventually returned the Yuan Tu Sword and Netherworld Blood Sea Great Dao divine light to him. Blood God Son regained the Integration Realm, seized a demon realm for cultivation, and finally departed after witnessing Kongchenzi’s rise as lord of the Scattered Immortal Realm. 472 473 477

Appearance

Blood God Son’s form changes with his cultivation and condition. While sealed in the Crimson Emperor Divine Mountain, he survived as a colossal severed head amid Great Sun Golden Flames; later, he appeared as an aged cultivator. 386 472

Personality

Blood God Son is ruthless, proud, and deeply vindictive. Even while reduced to a burning head inside the Crimson Emperor Divine Mountain, he swore to drag Kongchenzi down with him rather than accept defeat quietly. 386

Mo Fei describes him as extreme, suspicious, cruel, and ungrateful; his surviving disciples feared him more than they respected him. 383 His desperation also makes him willing to sacrifice his own body, realm, and cultivation in pursuit of escape or revenge. 387

Despite this, he is pragmatic when faced with overwhelming power. His relationship with Kongchenzi shifts from mutual hostility to a transactional alliance, and he later refuses to reclaim the Heavenly Demon Qin without earning it, offering instead to help Kongchenzi refine it. 396 472
