A single Sky Carrier carried a hundred fighter jets. Four Sky Carriers meant a total of four hundred fighters—a terrifying aerial force no matter where they were deployed!

Following Chen Mo's order, everyone aboard the three Sky Carriers heading for New York, from crew members to pilots, sprang into tense activity. The decks bustled as Quinjets took off one after another, forming a massive fighter formation that sped toward New York!

But before they arrived, Chen Mo's plane reached Stark Tower first and slowly landed on a platform at the top.

Chen Mo led the way out of the cabin, and Tony Stark, Steve, and the others hurried forward to meet him.

"How is it?"

Chen Mo glanced at the Cosmic Cube nearby, which was radiating a brilliant blue glow, and asked in a grave voice.

Tony Stark shook his head with a heavy expression.

"Still no good! We tried everything—cutting off the power, all kinds of attacks—but none of it worked! It looks like the opening of the space wormhole can't be stopped!"

Chen Mo glanced at Dr. Erik Selvig, who lay unconscious nearby, his face dark as he remained silent.

In truth, Chen Mo knew how to stop the space wormhole from opening. But he had played along with Loki and the others until now precisely because he had been waiting for this moment—the wormhole opening and the Chitauri army invading. Naturally, he could not give up now!

Beside him, Thor shook Mjolnir in his hand and declared loudly, brimming with fighting spirit.
