Zhu Fengdan is a Wushen Mountain Great Shaman and Spirit Medium whose exceptional combat talent made him a renowned prodigy, though it also placed him at odds with other Great Shamans. He and Yun Fang confronted Tang Kingdom representatives at the Baiyue border, where Zhu Fengdan treated the opposing force with open hostility rather than diplomacy. 218 219

In his youth, Zhu Fengdan was remembered as “The Star that the Heavens Contended to Watch”: elegant, talented, righteous, and widely admired.
